Just checking in Wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive and trucking right along on my NaNo story
As we speak I am closing in on 14k words!!
If anyone's interested you can keep up with my progress HERE
and if you click on Novel info you will find little snippets from each chapter
As a special treat though here's a dream sequence from chapter 7 that I havne't posted yet
Juts remember this is all pre-edit.. I will be going back and cleaning it all up in December!

In Harry's dreams the snow fell steadily, each pristine flake following the next past his eyes. A gentle breeze pushed the snow along the ground causing the falling flakes to dance and twirl before his eyes. It was quiet, no birds chirped, no animals rustled in the bushes, the only sound that reached his ears was a quiet giggle. As the snow blew away from his eyes Harry saw a girl twirling in a field. She wore a bright red jacket with matching hat and gloves, her brown curls glistened in the sunlight as the bounced and swirled around her. Harry began to walk closer and when he was only a few feet away she turned to face him. "Come play with me Harry." Hermione beckoned. She held out her arms to him and Harry found himself quickening his pace as he walked towards her. His arms wrapped around her small body pulling her against him, even as his mind shouted that it was wrong. When his lips angled down towards hers Harry felt his body tense and when she molded herself against him he heard himself suck in a ragged breath. The wind blew again and even in his dream Harry could hear Ginny crying
