Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

That's just so not fair. They should sell it to someone who actually wants to run it at a decent hour.  I really hate Siffy.

Don't you have a TiVo ?

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

I don't need it for myself.  Obviously, I'd be laughed right outta here if I didn't own the DVDs.  It's just that when they do run it at a decent hour, it wins new people over and I get to make new friends.  smile

I'm sure that there'll be a few insomniacs watching JoA on SyFy, and they will come here.

Since you built it, they will come.

Siffy is stupid. They need to give JOA a better airtime.

I really wish that they could do a reunion movie. Most of the cast are still the "right" ages. It could be done, right ?

I used to hope against hope that there would be some kind of conclusion to My So-Called Life, but the cast has aged there, so it probably wouldn't work.

Oddly, when I saw Angela's Dad on "LOST" last year, to me, he was still Angela's Dad, not an evil guy's laywer.

I wish too.  Of course.  Or even a novel.  That's why I write fic.  Because I need Arcadia.

Agreed.  A Joan reunion would be nice, so would My So-Called LIfe.  What character did he play on Lost?  I didn't notice him.  I'm ready for the next season!

Tom Irwin, aka "Graham Chase," played "Dan Norton," a lawyer, on "Lost" last season.

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

I thought that it was interesting how, in the pilot episode, Joan had a couple of "Valley Girl" type pals.

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

That is an intersting observation.  I always found that odd and awkward.  Joan was trying to fit in somewhere where she didn't quite belong.  God definately had other plans for her! wink

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

I have to amend this. It looks like SyFy will be airing JoA every Friday at 5AM.

That is 3AM in Arizona, so the TiVo will be busy at that time lol

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

Eh, you don't need to watch it on Siffy.  I just thought it was interesting that they're airing it.

I know! I saw Mae on Arested Development! I never noticed it was her! She plays 'Anne" if you watched the show.

It looks like they have switched JoA to Mondays, but they're airing the last three or four episodes again. I have to check the TiVo to be sure.

Re: Joan weekly on SyFy

So glad I just purchased the first season on dvd.

Joan - I didn't take back my photos from the yearbook. I got fired. I'm not a photographer or an artist like Iris. I'm not a literary editor or...  A science geek or anything. I'm-- I mean, I tried to be, but I'm not. I'm really just... digging around in the garbage trying to... find something that matters.

Adam - That's what I love about you, Jane.
