This is driving me crazy ... I had this big folder made of cardboard that contained the work samplings I did while I was still in my training and it's GONE now! I just can't find it and that's so ... not possible! I mean, this is a small one room apartment and there are not many places an A2 folder could hide ... I searched through the apartment AND my cellar room three times and it's just GONE ... somehow I'm beginning to think that this Cecilia Ahern novel I am currently reading is true ... there IS a place where the lost things go. Hmpf!

Have you checked under and on the cupboards/wardrobe? Behind the furniture?

Oh yeah, I did. Three times.
I even called my dad to ask him if he remembers putting it to the used paper bin accidently.

Check under the bed and random places where you place junk like in the closet or I sometimes put things in the bathroom because i've ran out of cabinet spaces! Good luck! I know that's an uneasy feeling. Once you quit looking for it, that's when you'll find it. That always seems to be the case for me!
Still waiting to here from my job interview a few weeks ago. Got offered a job substitute teaching, but I'd prefer the other position if offered. It's an actually teaching position, part time, but teaching. It's no fun being unemployed. I'm more anxious with nothing to do than with lots to do!

My dog ran off yesterday and ran over to the columbia gas man and gave him kisses. I thought the man would get mad but it didn't bother him

I'm going to see The Lovely Bones on Sunday. I hope it's good even though I know it won't be as good as the book.

I'm looking forward to The Lovely Bones, too. I even bought the book and hopefully I'll be able to read it before I see the movie. I've to finish that Cecilia Ahern novel first, though.

The Lovely Bones is a good movie but the book is better. I definitely recommend reading the book first.

Yay! The book I ordered from cd-wow.net arrived today - after two weeks of waiting impatiently for it! LOL

I haven't seen the Lovely Bones movie yet...but don't know if I want to from what I've heard about the movie, they focused on the wrong parts of the book? I don't know, the book was pretty amazing but it seems like they left out a bunch of pivotal points to make a movie. Since you've read the book first, do you really think it's worth seeing? Lol, I'm just contemplating whether I want to bother or not..

I think it's better to see The Lovely Bones at the value cinemas.

Oh, I wanted to say that Joe Skyped me at work yesterday. What a hoot! We video-chatted for about 10 minutes while everyone in my office was in a meeting but me. (My boss had me load up Skype while she was in the UK over the holidays in case she need to talk to me.) He's doing well in Belgium, seeing a lot of Europe. And he's coming home to Atlanta for a week in March. I can't wait to see him. He said EY might want John to work in Belgium for another year so they might stay for 30 months instead of 18.

Sounds great! Judging from what he's posting on Facebook, it sounds like he's having a great time over here. They've already seen a lot of great places in Belgium and the Netherlands. And, of course, Paris.

He is having a good time, except it's busy season for accountants so John's working a lot of late nights. He says he's kinda bored and lonely during the weekdays. But when he reminds himself that he's bored and lonely in Europe, it's not so bad.

I would be bored in Europe over Dallas any day! He's certainly right on that point!
I finally heard back and was accepted a part time reading teacher position for the remaining school year at a charter school! It's a good starting position with potential growth into a full time teaching position in the following school year if everything works out alright. The school has a great reputation. I'll be working with 2nd graders!

Sounds great, congrats, Lindsey! So, Europe is boring, huh? I can imagine it might be if you don't speak the local language and are new without really knowing people in the neighborhood, but I can't say I find Europe itself boring at all. Then again, I'm probably biased.

Thanks for the congrats everyone. appreciate it, and yes Deb it is a huge relief!
Teejay, Germany was one of my most favorite places I visited while in Europe! I have cousins in Stuttgard and it was just beautiful. I can see why you're biased! I would mind living there myself!
