I kinda need some input...

If you could only choose one clip of Chris ---- must be in excellent quality --- to show to someone to try to illustrate what you love about him, what would it be? I know this is a very personal question. We all like him for different reasons. It came up because I have a new friend at work who's really cool and I've been telling her about all of us fans/friends and Chris, and all the wild stories we Dorquettes have, but she's never seen him in anything. So I'm trying to pick a clip that has everything I love all rolled up in one. I want her to see...

His beautiful smile...
gorgeous hair
succulent lips
fascinating hands
deep, bassy voice
stellar acting chops
how funny he is
and his casual, sessy charm (among other things).

Suggestions? Please post links so we can discuss...

It's not too long. I watched it last night to see if it would do the trick. Two problems: It spoils JoA and I don't wanna do that because I eventually hope to hook her on the show. And the other thing is that it has a lot of older stuff on it that I'd rather not show her. Not that there's anything wrong with the older stuff. It's just that I'd rather show her some Linus & Cooper than David & Travis.

This came up because I made some crack about some dude being sexy. And so she asked me who's my idea of the sexiest actor ever. I couldn't really answer at first. I mean, there are tons of sexy actors I could name, but none of them are MY guy, ya know? So there I sat trying to explain Chris's appeal to someone who's only ever seen a couple of photos of him; never seen him move, never heard him talk. I'm not so anxious to show her the fine acting in American Gun or Miracles; I want to showcase his charisma and pure hotness. Does that make sense?

PSS: She loves Elijah Wood and she said that she thinks Clint Eastwood is the sexiest actor she's ever seen, specifically, in Bridges of Madison County. She's 30.

You know what? If you took out the T&E clip, and the AG & Miracles clips (sorry! I love them too!) and put in the clip of Mrs. G reading Adam's mom's letter to him, then added a Fanboys & Infestation clip, maybe a Charlie Banks clip, it'd be perfect. Also, I really think it needs to be chronological. Not that you have time to mess around with it right now, but someday maybe an updated one would be cool.

We just have to figure out which clips...

I don't remember if I still have the original videos on my hard drive from which I made that reel. If not, I'd have to re-rip all the DVDs to my hard drive. DVD rips take up a large amount of space and I think I deleted some of my Chris rips recently to save space. I also remember for some of them (like the Miracles and Alpha Dog one), I had to do some serious re-coding because it wasn't 16:9 format. I'll check, though.

LOL. Not exactly. I have my desktop and my new laptop. I didn't keep the old one. But you're right, space-wise, I probably have four computers. Still, hard drive space tends to shink quickly if you keep your music, TV show video files and ripped DVDs on there...
