Guyana Tragedy: The Story Of Jim Jones. Excellent movie. I remember Powers won the Emmy that year for best actor and he was the ONLY actor who showed up to collect his trophy because there was a strike going on. Yeah, he's that badass.

I remember that, too! I was glad he did it. That performance was a tour de force, and he was a little-known actor at the time. Usually I don't believe in crossing picket lines, either. But they weren't going to work. They were going to their industry's annual awards banquet. I'm glad he was there to accept the award for what might be the best work he'll ever get to do.
