Future Prospects

I have to post a link to TeeJay's new fic because I just read it again online and it made me choke up.  And that was my fourth time!  It's really quite beautiful.

Check it out:

Re: Future Prospects

Thanks, Deb. Yeah, it made me cry at one point when I wrote it. Amazing how these characters can cast such a spell on you.

Re: Future Prospects

I read that last night. Or was it the night before last? I don't remember. I didn't cry but I loved it.

Re: Future Prospects

Amazing TeeJay. I'm just now starting to get into the fanfiction you guys have written. I think so far this is only the second I've read, the first being "The Haircut", which I adored as well. In my opinion, it's hard to find really well-written fanfiction, so I've stayed away from it for the most part. But these are seriously outstanding.

Off to read more!

Re: Future Prospects

Brenna, I hope you dip into Butterflies.  Just be prepared.  Our Mature Version is well over 300 pages long and currently at 29 chapters with at least 6 more chapters currently in the works.  I would be very interested in your opinion of that story --- if you ever find the time to digest it all.  big_smile

Re: Future Prospects

Thank you, Brenna. It's so much fun to write these characters, especially Adam. And, yes, I also suggest you check out Butterflies. The mature version if you dare.

Re: Future Prospects

Aw, thank you so much, Paige. That really means a lot. But you should really watch the show before you read any more fan fiction. Because otherwise you'll majorly spoil yourself for what happens in late season 2.

Re: Future Prospects

Yeah, take TeeJay's word for that.  Wait.  You really should experience the growth of Adam from the beginning, in context.  He's just too wonderful and unique not to.  smile

Re: Future Prospects

amazon.com has them for $35 and $38 respectively. cd-wow.net doesn't seem to offer them anymore. I usually order at axelmusic.com, but since it's a Swedish site and they ship from Europe, it's probably cheaper for you to get your stuff from the US. That's the only sites I ever order DVDs at, so maybe the US faction around here has some better suggestions.

yeah I saw figuring I'd probably go with Amazon, but I decided to make sure. I will probably look into it more later tonight, when I get home from work.

Re: Future Prospects

You should also check the Amazon used merchants.  Most of them are very good and you might get it for $10-15 less than the price of a new set.  Or check Walmart or Target.

And Paige, I'll be thrilled for you to start reading Butterflies, AFTER you're done with Season Two, missy.  wink

Please trust us on the spoiling thing because there's a major event in late season two that spins everything on it's axis.  You REALLY need to get to know and love Adam before all this stuff goes down.  If you don't, you'll never have the true Adam experience.  And it is something incredibly special.

Re: Future Prospects

I feel heartbroken.

Joan - I didn't take back my photos from the yearbook. I got fired. I'm not a photographer or an artist like Iris. I'm not a literary editor or...  A science geek or anything. I'm-- I mean, I tried to be, but I'm not. I'm really just... digging around in the garbage trying to... find something that matters.

Adam - That's what I love about you, Jane.
