You know what I just figured out?

"Chris came close to an Angela Jolie film, a lead, he was their first choice, but then they went with someone who looked almost thirty..."

The person who said this was obviously talking about Wanted. Damn! That would've been amazing!

So OK, we should start a thread for this. Movies Chris almost got...

He told us about Factory Girls, so we know about that one.

We were told he was going to NY to meet with the Olsens about a lead in a movie they were working on and that turns out to be The Wackness.

I guess we can count Calvin Marshall in this category since he had the role but had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts.

We also know he had a role in Oliver Stone's Pinkville before the movie got shelved.

We know that he almost took the role on ER of the split personality guy that Shawn Hatosy played.

BTW, Sean almost got the role of Harold on ER too.

He would've played James in a few more eps of Huff if there had been a season three.

What else...?

Here's one for Sean...

"Sean told me he was up for three movies, one of which is Transformers, the sequel."

That would be the role that went to Jonah Hill. Thank God. Now, I don't have to watch the movie. Sorry Sean.

And thankfully the remake of My Tutor fell through.

OK, I finally watched The Wackness. Terrific movie. Josh Peck is amazing. I absolutely LOVE him in this movie. The whole cast is great. But I can't help wonder what it would've been like to see Chris in that part. He was up for it. It would've stretched him in all kinds of directions. And I think I might've died during the shower scene. :drool:

But then it took a heartbreaking and very intense turn. I was surprised that the ending wasn't a downer. Cannot recommend this movie enough to anyone who likes this type of coming of age indie thingie.

The Wackness is a great movie and I have it on dvd. I wish Chris could've been in the movie.

Although I love James Macevoy, Chris would have been AWESOME at that role in Wanted. Too bad.... It would have been nice to see him as a regular on ER too.
