Jesus, OK, that's it, I'm officially in love with Jason Ritter.  He could not BE cuter than he was on Parenthood tonight.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Just watched The Open Road with Mary Steenburgen and Justin Timberlake.  Wonderful Jeff Bridges and Kate Mara round out the cast.  It's a very sweet little movie.  Very well-made, intimate.  Brought me to tears a couple of times.  I definitely recommend it to anyone who digs the cast. Or just small, human films in general.

Made me wonder if Mary saw Alpha Dog...

I watched The Open Road a few weeks ago. Its a wonderful movie. Mary and Justin give phenomenal performances in the film.

Look whom I found on Twitter: http://twitter.com/MSteenburgen
Not sure if she's really real, but since Cheryl Heuton retweeted some of her stuff I think she is.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

It's real.  Maria posted it on my FB wall the other day, I just haven't had a chance to check it out yet.  Her son, Charlie also tweets.  Carol read all of Mary's tweets and said they were great. This may finally be a way I can reach out to her. I want to interview her so badly.

Want me to send her something? I can't promise she'll read it and answer, though. But it might be worth a try.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I don't know if I'll send her something. That would have to fit into 126 characters, you know? LOL And chances she'll read it are not that high, I guess. And since Jill hasn't answered my email yet I think maybe I'll scare Mary away, too. Who knows? LOL

All I can say is that you'll never know unless you try. Sean Marquette never answered any of my messages either, but did that stop me from trying?

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Chris is now one degree from Giada DeLaurentis because Andy Fickman was on The Next Food Network Star tonight, directing the contestants' "promo" spots for their imaginary shows.  Pretty funny!

Lots of trailers going on for this one. Jay is getting big.

(but I keep imagining how Chris would do his roles - and he'd ROCK!)

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Somehow this reminds me a little too much of Harry Potter, but it still does look cool ...

As for Chris, I'm still working on my idea of the perfect role for him - it's there in my head but I can't share it because I need decent pictures to explain it!!! Argh, I hate that!

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I saw the trailer a few months ago, and I have to admit it didn't exactly grip me. Of course I thought it was cool that Jay was in it, but I don't think I'm gonna pay money for seeing it.

A great role for Chris would be a killer like Mike Welch in Mandy Lane.  smile

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Saffron Burrows, who's on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, just said on Craig Ferguson that she and Jeff Goldblum are allowed to invite guest stars on to the show.  She loves Lionel Richie so she invited him on.  Whoa... my buddy system job theory does hold water.  OK, Jason Ritter, I already suggested on Facebook that you get Chris a job.  Get to it, man!

Ugh. I'd rather see him as an artist or something like that. You know, as a painter or something liket hat. Wouldn't that be interesting?

I watched my UK BLURAY All The Boys Love Mandy Lane with Warrin. He likes it. He thinks its a twisted and good movie. I've seen the movie 5 times now.

I just watched Mandy Lane with my mom. She liked it. She thought Aaron Himelstein looked alot like Chris Marquette. I don't think so.  tongue
