Re: The Brothers Marquette

Thanks to this site I just realized that Sean came out in the 4400!  Huge fan of that show so today I was stoked to find out that he came out in it.  Just wish I had known sooner.  Then again his last name on the screen should've given it away, guess I was blind to it at the time.  Oh well, I know now!

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Yeah, Sean's getting a little more screen exposure lately. He was in a recent Standoff episode, as you might have read. Chris's and Sean's mom was really tickled that we included Sean's and Eric's work on our website too. Well, we might as well go the whole way. If we wanna be comprehensive, then we darn well better be! smile

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Plus, I honestly dig Sean.  I saw 13 Going on 30 in the theatre and I've watched everything I can catch ever since I saw him on NYPD Blue a couple of years ago.  He's great and adorable.

Yeah, I saw 13 going on 30 in the theater too. So it was kinda funny when I started watching Joan and later found out that Chris and Sean are brothers.

Re: The Brothers Marquette

New movie Sean's filming right now: Resurrection Mary
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944142/

Plot Outline: A young man meets a girl who might be a ghost, But matters turn serious when his friends start dying under mysterious circumstances.

What is it with Chris and Sean both shooting things with ghosts (=> The Invisible)? This kinda sounds like something along The Ring or The Grudge or Final Destination. Not quite my thing... I hope it's not gonna be something crappy, like, say, Freddy vs. Jason. Should it come to German theaters at some point, I might just invest the few bucks and go see Sean on the big screen. Gotta support the Marquette brothers, right? wink

Re: The Brothers Marquette

What is it with people on IMDb having this pathological need to compare one actor to another? We know Chris is said to look like John Cusack, but he's been compared to Paul Dano and Shia LeBeouf too recently. And just now I read a post on Sean's IMDb MB where someone says Sean reminds him/her of Matthew Perry (the guy who played Chandler on Friends).

Now, I get how people say Chris looks a bit like John Cusack, but the others are way off. I mean, Sean reminded me a little of John Billingsley in the Standoff episode, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they look alike. Chris looks like Chris and Sean looks like Sean. Period.

Sorry for the rant. I'm so sick of history repeating on IMDb all the time. Just the other day there was the gazillionth post that Fanboys is too much like Detroit Rock City. No, it's NOT! It's like Fanboys!

Re: The Brothers Marquette

You see, that's the reason why I hardly go to the imdb boards anymore. The people there are either jerks, have no clue what they are talking about or are just registered there to fill the boards with their unnecessary ramblings. Of course Sean doesn't look like Matthew Perry. And Chris doesn't look like Paul Dano at all. (I think those people should watch GND before posting something like that.)
But there will always be people like that. You can't change them or make them go away. I know how annoying that is, but that's the imdb boards. I'd say, save your energy for more important things. wink

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Yeah, IMDb is full of freaks, losers and small-minded idiots.  But there are also really nice people there.  Of course you have to wade through a hundred crap posts to get to that one good one, but they do exist.

I still go there because it's nice to talk to new people sometimes.  Once our board picks up, it won't be necessary anymore.  I look forward to the day when there are so many posts here I won't have time to go to IMDb.

But I gotta give IMDb this.  If not for their lame boards, we wouldn't be where we are today.  Without them, we never would've met our buddy Sean.  And if we'd never met Sean, we never would've met Chris either.

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Thanks, Ronnie, I believe these come originally from our site. smile Or else we have the same ones, because I've screencapped all of Sean's The 4400 appearances. Actually, I think these are slightly different from ours. What we have, you can find here:

http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/index.php?cat=5

And I really liked seeing Sean on The 4400. Just a shame that he won't be back. hmm

Oh, and I found a few more nice (but small) photos of Sean. I put them in the gallery. I think we not only have the biggest collection of Chris Marquette pictures on the web, we also have the biggest Sean collection...

I happen to think that it was a brilliant idea to include Chris's brothers on the website. I haven't seen them in much - I saw Sean in "13 Going on 30", but that's about it. I really need to find some of their guest-starring episodes online.

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Brenna, we have clips of some of Sean's and even two of Eric's appearances on the website. It's not the whole episode, but it's pretty much all their screentime in whatever they were in. It's in "About Chris" and then "Eric & Sean". But if you'd rather watch the whole episodes of what they were in, I don't blame you. But don't be disappointed if Eric's scenes are ultra-short. In Desperate Housewives he doesn't even talk.

Thanks. smile And including Sean and Eric in the website came almost naturally. Of course we need to support them too.

I found the pics on a 4400 website.

And yeah, it's too bad he won't be on the show anymore.  I really loved his character (but then again, I love all things 4400!)

Re: The Brothers Marquette

God, Sean is becoming a little hottie too!  Wow.  I love that new pic above!  Wonder if we should forward that to Tisha.  She might not've seen it.

And we should point out that our Eric section is not likely to grow as Sean's most certainly will.  Eric is not actively pursuing acting roles at this time.  Tisha says he has chosen another path.  But Sean is becoming very focused on his career and turning out to be a real, gifted young actor, as Chris told us back in October.  Can't wait to see the boys onscreen together in The Beautiful Ordinary, whenever that turns out to be!

Ah, I see. Well, thanks for bringing them over here anyway. Didn't mean to imply that wasn't appreciated.

Yeah, those pics of Sean are really nice. And once again: Why doesn't Chris have pics like that floating around the WWW? hmm I'm sure Tisha would love that pic of Sean. Are you gonna e-mail it to her, Deb? Might prompt her to answer too.

Re: The Brothers Marquette

Here's that indie movie Tisha told us about that Sean's working on.  Apparently it has wrapped...

Resurrection Mary (2007)
On a dark and creepy road, teenager Jeff Pryce (Kevin G. Schmidt) nearly runs down a beautiful, yet mysterious young girl walking alone by Resurrection Cemetery. Jeff offers to give her a ride and by the time he drops her off, a mutual attraction is obvious. But Jeff's life begins to spin out of control shortly after he asks "Mary" (Pamela Noble) to be his date at Homecoming -- as one by one, his friends are brutally murdered. Having spent time in juvenile hall, Jeff becomes the prime suspect. Who is Mary? Why is everyone around him dying? And will Jeff's desperate measures to clear his name put him face-to-face with the real killer? Written by Anonymous
