I just stumbled across this. Chris once mentioned that he was making an experimental short with friends around the time he was working on Infestation. I think I just found it. This hella bizarro little 10 minute short is a pot-smoker's paranoid freak-out. In slow-mo. It's like beat poetry with images, man. Check it out and brace yourself for Chris going more off the wall than we've yet to see him. Funnily enough, his character is named Keith and has a Keithy-as-hell fright wig and his beautiful eyebrows are obscured as if to say "bite me TeeJay, gonna be fugly this time". It kills me! It's like he did it on purpose. And Di's character is named Chris! This thing complete screws with my mind.

Man, I wish I had time to watch it, but we're off in about half an hour and I still need to finish packing some stuff. Will take a look when I get back next week. It sure sounds... interesting. LOL

Did you watch it yet, Anne? I couldn't get it out of my head last night. Every time I woke up during the night, it took forever to get back to sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about it.

And TeeJay, once again, something amazing comes along when you're on a trip. LOL! Hope you get to see it soon. "Interesting" does not begin to cover it.

I did watch it as soon as I saw it on Facebook. Couldn't really understand it the first time, though, need to watch it again.
It's so funny that his name is Keith, because I had to think of "Alpha Dog Hair" as soon as I saw that he had a wig. This is probably not going to be my most favorite stuff but it's still refreshing to see something new(ish)!

I loved this weird little piece. Should have been longer. It was weird as heck for someone like me (that never even wanted to try any kind of drugs) but I'd totally watch a whole feature-long version! The special effects were amazing for something so cheap.

The best part: so much Chris' voice. ♥ the narrative! And I think he looked pretty good too.

I agree. Getting to hear him narrate the whole thing was great. Made me really want him to do a feature film that's narrated by his character. I kinda have to disagree that he looked good though. Were you able to watch it on a big screen? For some reason, they once again found it necessary to ugly him up. The wig was bad enough but the unibrow? That's sacrilege! Why can't they just let him look normal??? Guess he's too pretty for some. Besides the narration, I loved that bizarre sex scene. We've certainly never seen him do anything like that before.

Yeah, the sex scene was a first! "Pull my tail!" made me question my hearing. :rofl:

I thought he looked good. But I may have just been looking at the lower part of his head (hello, chin-lover here! ), coming to conclusion that the wig cover too mcuh to see the brows clearly.

You had bad sound, Anne? That sucks. It sounded perfect for me. In fact, I was kind of impressed with the quality. Sorry it wasn't that way for you.

Maria, it's probably a good thing that you couldn't see the unibrow! He's got some acne going too, but that's not a big deal.

How 'bout Di's freakout in the shower? Peeling her skin off and all. That was certainly freaky. We even get to see her boobies. Heehee.

I want to see if I can learn more about the people who created this thing...

I have to admit, I didn't get it. Maybe there was nothing to get. Kinda like a guy on acid trying to tell a story that comes out all crazy and nonsensical. But I'm glad I got to see it, it surely is an interesting thing to see Chris play, even though there was not much (if any) visual pleasure to it. It was shot in 2007, right?

I know you're dying to get screencaps, but I'm gonna have to do them on the other computer later, maybe tomorrow or on Wednesday. I'm recovering from a cold and it doesn't help that my flight was delayed last night and I got home only after 1 AM, having to go back to work today.

I think the general idea is that his friends have become so messed up on drugs that they're "turning into monsters". His girlfriend/roommate whatever (Di) has completely tripped out of her mind. And then pretty much everything that happens after he goes to his room and smokes the joint is a drug hallucination. It's set in the 70's, and it just kinda fits that era.

But I can certainly see someone who's never done a drug in her life being baffled by it though. LOL!
