Re: Wallpapers

Well, PhotoPaint has a normal Weichzeichner too, but this is a special kind. PhotoPaint has all sorts of blur filters, there's Directional Smooth, Gaussian Blur, Motion Blur, Radial Blur, Smooth, Soften, Smart Blur, and a few more. What I used is the Smart Blur, so a normal Weichzeichner (which, I think, is the same as Soften or Smooth) won't do the trick as well as the Smart Blur filter does. Just play around a little, maybe you'll find something that'll do what the Smart Blur does.

Re: Wallpapers

Well, somehow I've felt creative and made wallpapers out of the fake Chris movie posters I came up with. They're all 1280 x 1024, so they're pretty huge. Here you go:

normal_ADWallpaper.jpg

normal_AGPosterChris1.jpg

normal_AGPosterChris2.jpg

normal_AGPosterChris_black.jpg

I'm currently using the black AG one on Neo's screen.

Re: Wallpapers

Maybe it's because my monitor hasn't warmed up enough, but the AD one is too dark in my very humble opinion.  I'd totally use that one if it was a little lighter and a little smaller.  But they're all great.

Re: Wallpapers

I made the pic of Chris on the left very dark on purpose. But I can make you a lighter, smaller version. I'll e-mail it to you. I know things sometimes look different on CRT and TFT screens and it's hard to judge when you only have TFT screens to check your stuff on.

Thanks. I'm using the third one myself.

That quote in the first one is from an interview he did in 2003: http://movies.about.com/library/weekly/aa081203b.htm

Re: Wallpapers

Here's a new Alpha Dog wallie I made today (1024 x 768 pixels):

normal_AD_KeithCollage.jpg

Does this need a strong language warning?

And I can't believe I like Chris as Keith enough to actually make one of these things. Amazing.

Re: Wallpapers

Dude!  Picking myself up off the floor after fainting dead away.  That is totally droolworthy!  And you're not kidding about being shocked to find yourself liking Keith so much.  I cannot believe that just a few months ago, I was thinking just what Chris said, that he was gonna look terrible in the movie.  Couldn't have been more wrong about that.

I still don't love the wig, but who cares when the rest of the package is so appealing?

I've gone through the screencaps from beginning to end three times now and I watched the middle of the movie again last night --- from Keith's first scene till he runs back to the car.  I can't seem to get enough.  And the songs are always stuck in my head too.

Who'da thunk it --- Keith Stratten is dead sexy!
