I have no problem with money, i've got thousands in the bank. It's just i've never had the confidence to go out and have fun. I work at the school I was a student at, and still do the same thing now than I did back then; I wake up, go to school, work, come home, stay inside the remainder of the day. Weekends I just stay in from start to finish.
Okay, if you don't have issues with money (as I do), and you're twenty-one years old today and you're already tired of your life - why don't you just grab some of that money and do something you never did before? That's what I'd do. I'm so tired of sitting at home and only seeing my parents for a change.
I mean, od course I'm not telling you to waste your money, I just think, you could do something new with it. Like, take a diving course or language class at your local evening school. Something like that, you know? It doesn't have to be a big thing, but I'm sure it would help. At least that's what I'd do if I had enough money left.
And by the way: Happy Birthday!
Does someone need to fly to England and drag your butt out of the house, Simon?
Two and a half weeks and I could actually do that, you know?

It's tomorrow, not today. The 1 day left I mentioned was the Sunday.

Well, I suppose it's still better than having to get a pretty decent scratch on your car fixed for 800 EUR. I just don't seem to have much luck with cars lately...

At least you've got a well-paid job. But I have to struggle with each euro I have.

Not so much a fine as more the punishment for my own stupidity. It happened in a very small parking garage that was just too narrow to maneuver. I didn't take the bend at the right angle and scratched paint off the lower left side on the curb. And it needs to be fixed, otherwise it'll start to rust eventually.

I ordered a new mp3player earlier today. Didn't plan to spend that money but at least I had more money this month then I had for the past six months. I just wish someone would actually hire me soon. I mean, there is still my other plan of going abroad if it doesn't work out with a job until November but then there's the thing with the money again and since my savings are slowly shrinking ... who knows if I'll be able to actually go? Life just sucks these days.

I'm gonna end up having to pay "only" 300 EUR since I'm gonna be using my car insurance (I get one free repair without them raising my yearly fees). But there's a 300 EUR co-pay for me. Which is still better than 800.

Thats good to hear that, TJ.
I'm sorry you're having financial troubles, Anne, I hope that things get better for you soon and that you get a new job.

Lucky for you Tina!
Sorry about your money issues Anne. I'm constantly having some of that too. I really hope someone would hire me too soon. the money I'm getting for unemployment money is a ridiculous 65e. I had no idea they could screw it up like that. and all because the place that pays most Gov. financial-support moneys (that we're legally entitled to have), ALWAYS F***s up with counting how my hubby's income influences on the money they give me. Its completely insane. they don't look at the taxes and monthly costs properly. funny how by their math J always makes actually TOO much money, but we never feel it in our wallets! I hate this global money situation.. and try living in the most expensive county of the World while having this damn thing.. mrrh

oh thanks. Yeah, lets hope so.
In the mean while... I'm in flu and too tired to do anything but sit on my ass all day so I've been flooding FB and twitter (Cappug. check it out. I made a new Chris-backround!). sorry. I'm home alone with the kids. second weekend in a row that hubs is away on work. Next weekend he'll be away on pleasure. Digi-expo thing in Helsinki that apparently has become an annual thing for him. Well, he gets to spend time with his gamer-buddies. Thank God for Xbox360! Made wonders to his social life and gives a place to ease the stress with.
