I give up. Cooper just won't let me watch the episode. I tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox but it's either the survey thing or Firefox crashing or even COOPER crashing two times in a row. Maybe I'm not supposed to watch the episode. I'll just watch the vidcaps and wait until Tina sends it with the next package.

It's only a half hour show, wouldn't kill ya. Whatever. OK, "Mike" (the blond guy) wanders onto a college campus and just looks around, wishing he could go to school. A Frisbee comes toward his head, he catches it and our guy is on the other end. You hear him before you see him. He's wearing a black hoodie over a red t-shirt and tan cargo shorts. It's just a few seconds, but we need it.

Here's a brief summary of the show that I wrote up for Leesey yesterday. She's never seen it either...
The basic premise is that suburban soccer mom Nancy Botwin starts selling pot to stay afloat after her husband dies. That was 5 years ago.
OK, the elder son is Silas. He was like 15 when all of this started, he's supposed to be like 20 or so now. Chris is part of his storyline.
This season the Botwins are on the run because the younger son, Shane killed a woman who was threatening his mom. They're calling themselves the Newmans and working in a hotel. Silas (now called Mike), is humiliating himself with a weird gig reading to an old hotel guest... in his underwear. So he decides he needs to "go find a girl to have sex with", to get the icky old man out of his head.
He wanders onto a college campus and runs into Trip playing Frisbee. He joins the game, pretending to be a student, and ends up hooking up with Kimmy as well as hanging out with Trip and his friends.
The "Newmans" are now selling hash that "Nathalie" cooks in one of the hotel's industrial dryers. So I'm betting that Silas, er, Mike will become BMOC by selling hash to Trip and his friends. This will give him a taste of the "normal life" he longs for and could've had if his mom hadn't become a drug dealer.

Do you know the name of Chris's character? It sounded like the girls he introduces to Mike call him Kev. Pardon my asking, but what does BOMC mean?

His name is Trip. That's almost always a nickname for someone who's name is Something Something, III. Kinda like "Charles Emerson Winchester, The Third" (said with a snotty Boston accent). LOL! He supposed to be a rich frat boy. BMOC = Big Man On Campus.

Since I'm currently rewatching Enterprise, Trip very much reminds me of Charles Tucker III., a.k.a. Trip Tucker (who is the chief engineer on the ship).

Deb, you may need to update the links to the embedded photos in your previous posts since I had to rename the caps.

I also had to giggle about that one:
Caption anyone? LOL

Guys, it's online already! Looks like the quality's decent too, though I can't really test it properly here at work...
Thank-you so much!!

I watched episodes 1-4 from this newest season so I'm somewhat clear with the back story. I absolutely loved Cris' scenes. Looks like he maybe could do at least couple of episodes. But kinda looks like this escape-trip is bound to end some time soon so he'll be lost..
ps. I love love LOVE the black hoodie/shorts-pics! Looking so sporty and sexy... *rawwwrrr*

And don't you love it that, casting-wise, lately he's graduated from high school student to college student?

He's supposed to be in one more ep, Maria. But also, the family is supposed to leave Seattle next Monday, so we might not see him again until later. Because you see, Silas ("Mike") really WANTS to go to college. And the family just might have to let him...

I guess that depends on how you interpret the phrase "a couple". For me, a couple means any number between two and ten, kinda like "several". Some people interpret it as being only two, as in a pair. If Chris thinks of it like I do, he might be in more than two episodes. Guess we'll see.

A couple equals TWO. We've had this discussion before. Would you want to be in a couple with eight other people?
Here's the dictionary definition...
1. two of the same sort considered together; pair.
2. two persons considered as joined together, as a married or engaged pair, lovers, or dance partners: They make a handsome couple.
3. any two persons considered together.
4. Mechanics . a pair of equal, parallel forces acting in opposite directions and tending to produce rotation.
5. Also called couple-close. Carpentry . a pair of rafters connected by a tie beam or collar beam.
6. a leash for holding two hounds together.
7. Fox Hunting . two hounds: 25 hounds or 12 1 / 2 couple.
If he's in more than two, it's only because they stretched his scenes out, like they did with Huff.
PS: "Couple" is not a phrase, it's a word.

Since we're quoting dictionaries now, let me paste what Merriam Webster says:
4: an indefinite small number : few <a couple of days ago>
Which is the same as "a few days ago", which can be five days ago. I get it how a couple can be two of something. Like two married people are a couple. I'm just saying that in a certain context, it can mean "few" without a specific number being assigned to it. Maybe not to everyone, but it does to me (and I know a few people who think the same way).
Also, it appears the caps I made earlier were too blurry and not detailed enough, so I've gone through Chris's scenes again and recapped them, using a different software this time. Hope I've captured all the expressions you wanted now. Updated caps are here: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=237
