Re: Lost

I've given up trying to figure out the show. It just majorly confuses me, and any theory you might have gets blown out with the wind anyway at some point. I'm just gonna watch it and the scratch my head afterwards, going, "WTF was that?" Nice to see some familiar faces, though.

Re: Lost

That's why I lost track of it 2 seasons ago and just gave up.

Re: Lost

In my personal opinion I feel the creators didn't expect it to last after season one and that's why it's gotten out of control.  The first season is incredibly different in mood and story from the rest of the seasons.  I still watch it because I love the characters.  I was a little dissappointed with the season premiere but that's pretty usual.  I usually start liking the episodes towards the middle after the build up.

Re: Lost

That was great  smile   This season has started off mediocre... we'll see how it ends up.  I'm too invested now not to watch it.

Re: Lost

I've been kind of disappointed with this last season so far but absolutely loved this past episode with Desmond.  He's always been such an interesting character and I love the relationship with Penny.  Anyone else watching?

Re: Lost

Anyone keeping up with lost this season?  What do you think?  Haven't been too impressed but I do like having Desmond back.  It was nice to see Charlie again too.

Re: Lost

love it Deb! Always been a fan of Matthew Fox!  I hope he gets another series. I think he does better in tv than movies to be honest!  I didn't know that he, or Dean Cain played football!  craziness!

Have you seen We Are Marshall?  I LOVE that movie.  He's really wonderful in it. And it's about football.  smile

Re: Lost

Netflix did not give it a lot of stars for me based on my other ratings.  Even though I'm from Texas, I'm not much of a football person.  I hear from EVERYONE that its good though so I will probably give it a try sometime!  I heard Speed Racer was good too, although Netflix didn't give it a lot of stars for me either! smile

Re: Lost

It's a crowd-pleaser that the critics found too sappy.  But don't let that deter you.  And it's not really about football, it's about this college that lost almost its entire championship football team and coaching staff in a devastating plane crash, and how they try to rebuild the program, and the town's spirits.  It's a beautiful little movie.  It'll make you cry.

Re: Lost

Since I've been sick this weekend i've been watching random things such as Joan of Arcadia, Lord of the Rings, Atonment, and now I'm on to Lost.  I'm feeling better now but balling crying watching Charlie die at the end of season 3!  I think Through the Looking Glass 1 &2 (when they start the flashfowards) and Season 6 "The End" are the best series endings for the entire show.  I know a lot of people didn't like the series finale, but I really enjoyed it.  Gives me chills to think about it sometimes!  That's my random vent of the evening.

Re: Lost

I know what you mean though. I watched the first disc of the 2nd season and then quit after that because I didn't want to see the rest!  I'm excited about the prostpects of my Lost bet.  To watch Season 1 through Season 6 all the way through with bonus features and everything. I've owned them forever and I think I've only watched everything from season 1.  I think I'm feeling the pulse because Lost usually comes on in January and this is what I've been doing for the past six years around Thanksgiving Christmas time.  THat's impressive to some and not to others! Lol.  I don't know what I'm going to do with out it.

Close after the series finale I had a dream  about Lost.  That I moved on the island, looking at the same mountains like in lost.  There was a candle burning and when I went to sleep ( in the dream) my candle burnt out.  I woke (in reality) feeling peaceful and calm.  I had to have closure from the show in my own dreams!! big_smile  I have actually thought about doing missionary work with indigenous tribes in Hawaii teaching english as a second language.  That's why I'm going back to get my Masters in TESOL.  Really off to bed for me otherwise I'll be ranting like this as I tend to do late in the evenings from exhaustion! lol
