I still miss my little Momo so much, although she's been gone for more than a year now. I grew up with that cat for 19 years! And I still remember the day I met her for the first time like it was yesterday!
It always breaks my heart when I hear about cats dying. I'd love to adopt one again, but my current appartment is just not big enough for a pet.

I went to work this morning but had to get one of the T.A.'s to cover me because I started weezing and coughing really badly. The first time in a year I've had to do this. I always feel guilty whenever I leave or call in sick, especially leaving my students with a sub. I know my students are in good hands with the T.A. she's a great teacher.

Cooper got "infected" with a virus yesterday! UGH!!! :angry: Thank God I was able to kill it. At least I hope so. It happened so quickly and I totally panicked. But hey, I managed to get rid of it without calling my brother again. That is something, right? LOL

I know it is Deb. It always is but you'll always have your memories. We still share funny stories about my dogs all the time! Makes me feel better when we do!

Still not feeling 100%. Know i need one more day of rest. The guilt of not being at work is just so hard to deal with. I know its better to get rest than make myself worse but I still hate it just the same.

Yeah, I'll get to that point sooner or later. I want to remember him before he got sick. The last days were very sad. The only thing that redeemed them was how much time I spent just cradling him in a blanket in my arms.

I always feel guilty when I'm out sick too, but I know it's worse for you because of how attached to you those kiddies are.

I know exactly how it feels to lose a pet. My cat Hopper died this past summer in late May.

Nothing most people would consider fun, but I enjoyed it. I put candles all around my living room and turned off all the lights, put on the Paranormal State marathon and gave out candy. I love that show and sitting in the atmospheric candlelight in my living room was fun since I usually hang out in my room where my computer is. Yeah, I'm a simple gal. Doesn't take much to make me happy, just Ryan Buell and candlelight.

Just a quick note to say hi, and let you know I am still alive. Just been crazy times, working on multiple shows (Life unexpected, Men of a Certain Age, and Ricky Gervais has started again). My wife has been at her parents helping them as they are getting older and having issues, and right after she returned she needed surgery (it went great, but she has a lot of pain, and won't be back to full strength for a few weeks). So, I have been having to do the single father thing for the last month or so. Plus, my free time (what little there has been) has been taken up with watching the MLB team I have followed for my whole life finally win the World Series (sorry about the first round Deb, but you had a win in 1995, I never have). So, life has been hectic, but I have dropped by a few times, and I will be back when things get a little more normal. (of course I missed all of Chris's recent TV stuff, but I am looking forward to the upcoming movies)

Thanks for touching base, Rick. I see you pop in occasionally, but I wondered why you hadn't said anything in a while. I'm glad to know that you're busy working. Please give your wife our best wishes for a very speedy recovery. BTW, I don't begrudge your Giants. I was actually rooting for them as soon as my Braves were eliminated. Those were great, hard fought games and your guys are a class act all the way. I actually have this really cool SF cap that my friend Casey brought me from her trip out to the bay area this summer. It's not a team cap, just an SF cap and it's blue, red and white, Braves colors, so I wore it for those games to root for the Giants in my team's colors. LOL!

You can pass on Weeds, he was barely in it. But you should definitely try to find Chris & Mike's Criminal Minds ep online. It was pretty cool. The Outlaw ep hasn't aired yet. Maybe this Saturday, fingers crossed.

The talk with my friend went as I expected it to go. She was upset but understanding and now, most importantly, everything is A OKAY so although my weekend was horrible, my week will be that much better.
