Mashed potatoes & Cajun gravy from Popeye's, Green beans and Mac & Cheese from Dave Poe's BBQ...

Hee, you can see Dixie standing there in the lower left corner of the last pic, hoping I'll drop something. She got lots of little bites of turkey.

That does look amazing Deb, haha even Dixie agrees. But then she would want to eat anything you were eating. That mac and cheese we had was amazing, I am very jealous. I didnt celebrate thanksgiving, instead went out drinking and dancing in Montreal last night and now feeling a little worse for wear this morning. However I have discovered that the guy in the bed below me (bottom bunk) reminds me of Chris.He looks like him, I will try to get a photo Haha he is obviously gay though sadly. However there are MANY fine looking men here in Montreal. And they all speak French and English, so sexy! *sigh* haha

My break up is well on it's way. I'm getting to move into my new place next week. Need to get some stuff there, but loks like I'm gonna have about half the stuff I need from the old place and J has asked some extra furniture from his collegue and mom for me too. Starting to look very nice I still have to get so much stuff, I'm getting a credit account at Ikea so I won't be totally broke for Christmas. Beds I need to get and they're damn expensive! if the building doesn't have a proper clothes washing place, I'm also gonna have to get a washer somewhere. Things with J are calm and friendly. Seems we're both 100% emotionaly out of the romantic relationship already. Maybe we've been for a long while now. been just roomies so this isn't anything new. We'll make good friends. There are still some moments of sadness for an end of an era in my life, but I feel stronger and happier. It shows in me too. Since I carry all my stress in my body, I've had loads of little troubles. They're now so small and non-existent, it's clear I'm stressing less. Even with all the paperwork and arrangements going on.

The kids are still totally clueless. I think my daughter suspects something but doesn't want to believe it so she chooses to believe that I sleep in her room really only because her couch is better for my back. Which isn't a lie but not the whole truth either. Today they're having a fun afternoon/evening with dad. Tomorrow I'm taking them to see a lizard show. Cause I'm gonna get one as soon as I can. Some time by tomorrow night they'll have to be told and given a proper chat and the shole shebang. yikes!

I'm ready to go back to class tomorrow but not at the same time. its been nice having no worries for a little while. It will be great to see the kiddos tomorrow though and hear about their thanksgiving! The mondays after ANY break are really hard. its like the first day of school all over again sometimes. Good luck to everyone returning or going back to work tomorrow! Hope this week goes well for everyone!
