I will also be spending my first Christmas and NYE on my lonesome. Should be interesting. I am used to a "small" christmas being carted around Melbourne to my mothers side of the family for lunch and my fathers side for dinner. If I see less than 20 family members its a small christmas. So I am just hoping I dont end up crying!

Oh and I got my new credit card in the mail today! YAY! Stupid people that steal money...I have also got most of it back. There is still $900 that the bank appears to have not paid me back for yet, but I think they will. Its just a matter of time, but I got close to $3000 back already. PHEW!

Oh yay, can't wait! Thanks! I'm also really glad your credit card situation worked out. Took me 5 weeks to get back the $1400 they swiped from my bank account that time when my debit card info got stolen. Nice that your bank was so responsive.

I really hope something like this will never happen to me. Not that I've got a lot of money in the bank right now ... all my savings are gone now and the employment agency is still not giving me any of the money they owe me. Instead they want me to fill out applications for a third time. I'll go there tomorrow and make a complaint after that and if that still doesn't make them move their a***s I'll get a lawyer. I need that f***ing money. (Sorry for the rant.)

I agree with you TeeJay, however it has most definitely caused issues with going where I want to go. So I am already over it right now. Although a white christmas would be very nice to experience at least once

I hear North Carolina is snowed in too. Most of my Raleigh colleagues worked from home today because they didn't dare go on the roads.

It was kinda funny when I went to the grocery story tonight. I skidded straight home from work, parked the car and went out there again on foot. Figured it would be the smart choice, I'm not keen on another traffic accident in winter weather. And the grocery store is just five minutes on foot anyway. It was still snowing when I went, so by the time I arrived there, I looked like a snowman. I had to shake the snow off of me before I entered the store. And I probably left a wake of droplets of molten snow inside the store as well.

I hate snow. I wish it was only there on Christmas Day. The rest of the year it can stay in heaven or wherever it is when it's not snowing. Especially on my birthday. For the fast years it was always that we didn't have snow on Christmas, but on my birthday. This year I'd like to have it the other way round please.
