Thanks for the Pilates tip. I do like yoga. I want to try Astanga yoga. It's supposed to be very strenghtening. Also, that's what Tobey Maguire trained on to become Spiderman.
I'll also do the gym machines three times a week. I'm sure a programme can be formed that's good for my legs and makes me healthier.

They could be what is called shin splints...usually comes from exercise and strain. It is literally your muscles pulling away from your bone. Supposedly its quite common because as we as a society has progressed and made footpaths and the like we didnt realised how bad it is for our feet, knees and muscles to constantly be walking on flat hard ground. Grass and dirt are much more forgiving than concrete. If you are interested I have posted the wiki page about it. Its really common, I would be surprised if your doctor didnt already think of this.

that's very interesting. i have thought of something similar but without so many medical terms. I would love to start hiking. I used to love walking in the nature younger. I've read a lot about how it's better for the legs and body than to exercise in hard covers.

OK, so it's supposed to snow again in the ATL starting tomorrow. And it may have ice mixed in and it may be really, really bad. Several inches, which is enough to shut the city down. Maybe I'll get to work from home on Monday. I'm just glad I don't have to go to the grocery store today. I'm sure the bread, milk and eggs are already all gone.

I've friended many old classmates thinking now we can really get to know eachother. But then when they never really message or comment or anything, I come to conclusion they're just stalking to make gossip, and delete them.

I hope it snows a lot and maybe even ice. I get to miss my Monday lab then and maybe my Tuesday classes. Last spring semester we had 3 snow days and never had to make them up.

Yeah, I also do that with people I don't even know, but they are more on myspace than Facebook, thank God. I've friended her for now, I guess I'll see if she keeps talking to me. If not, I'll just delete her again. I admit, it was kind of funny to talk to her again. She now lives in my old town, even in the sames street I used to live in, that was kind of funny.

It snowed for the first time this winter! It was 68 yesterday too. I was hoping that it would snow through the night to have a snow day but alas, it did not of course! Still nice to have for a while maybe. You guys are probably getting our same cold front.

Yes, I saw on the news that it was snowing in Dallas. And it is the same front, it's supposed to hit here around midnight. And tomorrow morning is going to be a disaster, they said on the evening news tonight.

I know. keeping fingers crossed that there is at least a delayed school start. Last time it snowed a foot our school district was the only one still open. so I highly doubt they will cancel but its nice to have some hope.

I hope you have a safe commute tomorrow if you do have to go into work. I'd highly recommend at least going when the sun comes out if you can.

I should be going to bed soon but I'm just too excited about moving. This is how I knew it was right. All the other places I looked at i came home dreading to move. I know it will be a great new start.

I know, I know. You poor bastards are totally unprepared for this white crap. I don't know how you'll survive without winter tires. I've had a few experiences of driving the first snow before the tires were changed. Slippery slope! :doh: Gosh, I hate snow. So wet and cold. And we've been having crazy freezing weather for weeks. I think today I can actually take the kids out to play without anyone getting cold.

Today I have my gym date. Hopefully I won't have to call and reschedule. Totally depends on if ex still wants to be a douche or ready to behave again. I called the dentist. Got an appointment for wednesday. Quick! My last wisdom tooth is killing me. Tomorrow we set up the kids custody things. if the lady won't call and reschedule again, for the third time. I so want to have them live at my place for various reasons but everyone says i have no chance of getting a sole custody, but neither does he. so weekly it is. world just seems out of place when thinking this stuff.

wow. ya'll got a lot more snow than we did. We were delayed until 10am. I highly doubt that will happen tomorrow. its still sleeting though. has been on and off all day. You never know. It was a bad day today overall. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

uh. those are some very unhealthy, unfunny work hours, Deb. Lets hope there will be more sane ones in your near future.

I had some more drama with the ex last night and today we have the custody meeting. fun times... i'm also babysitting for him again since he hasn't applied for the daycare places even though I gave him a half-filled application. he insists it's impossible to apply before we've got the custody shorted properly. we already agreed on the weeks, i wrote him a damn picture and a list of the days the kids are with him, and still he insists he can't tell. well today we get black on white legally. i can't have my life on hold because he can't get a babysitter that he has to pay to. I wanted to start my apprenticeship next month, but haven't been able to apply for places because i always have the kids during business hours. He is just bluntly abusing the fact that I wouldn't pass on a chance ot spend time with my kids. i'm so sick of dealing with him. can't we just pass this awkward period and jump to the part where we can actually be civil and have proper routines with the kids?

My first gym meet yesterday was so fun, the muscles on my arms and chest went to vibrate. yeah, should have eaten better so i wouldn't have been so weak. after it, i went to Subway and a half of an Italian BLT. maybe that half inch layer of sausages was enough protein to nurse my battered muscles. LOL. I'm a vegan but I know when it's necessary to step out of the diet. health first. I have a dentist tomorrow at 11am and the next gym apt at 2pm, so whoopdidoo; someone's gonna have to get another babysitter. I can't cancel those. gosh, my shoulders are stiff. should have stretched better yesterday.

Cappugirl: sorry to hear about all this stuff with custody and everything. I hope everything will smooth over soon for you and your kids. I'm glad your exercising though! It does so much for emotional and physical health even though you may feel the pain for a few days! Make sure your drinking lots of water too, that will definately help with the stiffness!

Today went ten times better than yesterday. I was glad because I didn't want this week to go bad. ITs still freezing cold! No delays today getting at work at 7am was a rude awakening today. definately had to hit the snooze a few times. Anyone going to see the Green Hornet this weekend?
