Re: Medium

OMG, the Ice Truck Killer is going to kidnap Allison next week!  Where the hell is Dexter when you need him?

Re: Medium

Miami!

Last night's episode had some cool "Ed" shout-outs.  One of the executive producers, Larry Teng, was a producer on "Ed" and is married to Lesley Boone, who played Manny's campaign manager on last night's episode.  She's been on there before.  I think she played a woman who was suspected of murdering her husband but it turned out to be Kelsey Grammer whodunnit.  She was one of the stars of "Ed", which is where she met her husband.  The name of the first murder victim, Warren Cheswick, is the name of the character Justin Long played on the series.  I hope I'm not the only serious Ed-head who loves "Medium", because I sure got a kick out of it.

Re: Medium

Well, now that I've had a week to think about it I can honestly say that I liked the second-to-last episode much better than the last.  It sure was a great series, though.  I'm really gonna miss it!

Re: Medium

I'm up to episode 23 in my re-watching from the beginning.  I can't even articulate how much I'm enjoying the experience.  smile

Re: Medium

I have to admit, I am so far behind on Medium at the moment, I think I need to rewatch it from some point at Season 5 to be able to remember everything ... but I will do that soon, I promise! I miss the show already.

Re: Medium

I just watched the series finale and I have to admit I didn't really like it all that much. In fact, what I liked most about it was the last few "scenes" where all the actors said goodbye. I wish they could have gotten a few more seasons.

Re: Medium

I liked that part best too.  And the reunited ghosty Al/Joe smoochies.  That was HOT.

I think it would've been fine if they'd just been allowed to finish out the season.  Instead GGC was given only a few weeks and one episode to wrap up a 7-year-old show.  OF COURSE it was not going to be the finale we'd all want to see. As I mentioned before, GGC said in an interview (while he was still pissed about the cancellation) that he was going to burn the whole thing down.  And that's exactly what he did.  He went a little nuts and did something so completely divorced from reality that I kind of see it as a lark.  It was like he was just thumbing his nose at CBS.  I loved that they put in a disclaimer at the end that said the real Allison & Joe are alive and well and living in Arizona with their kids.  That was GGC's way of saying, "All that stuff you just saw?  Only teasing!"

Re: Medium

Yeah, I guess I just hated the idea of Joe not living to see his kids grow up. I liked that they put Ariel back in for the finale, though.

Re: Medium

I was incredibly upset while watching it. But I ended up crying when Al & Joe were reunited and then giggling at the little actor goodbyes, and I actually felt fine once I saw the disclaimer (which I already knew, but seeing it helped).
