Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I will. Its playing late at the theaters near me. Its a letdown to me its hardly playing at all already and its only the second weekend. This movie deserves way better than that.

I just saw Take Me Home Tonight and loved it! put me in the best mood. Highly recommend it! Dan Fogler stole the show to be honest.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

He definitely stole every scene he was in.  I loved Anna Faris most, I think.  A different kind of role for her.  Topher was great, and looked hot half naked.  He's got surprisingly nice arms.  LOL!  And Michelle Trachtenberg cracked me up.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Drive Angry 3D is amazing! I loved it, a lot of fun! Emotional and kickass having Amber Heard with Nicholas Cage in a movie. Ambers character Piper is engaged and she catches the guy cheating. Then Nich messes him up so bad and Piper goes with him to defeat the satanic cult that took Nichs daughters baby. So ready for the dvd.

I've been watching Being human (US) today. The thing is, everytime I see Sam Huntington in a role, I get flashes of Chris doing it in his own way. better. Hah. I'm a pathetic fangirl. big_smile

It happens to me too, but mostly with Mr Sheephead. But I stayed with Being Human, it's quite interesting.

Deb, one of my friends told me that Being Human (US) was shortened from 13 episodes to 10. That's usually a sure indication for cancellation. Awesome. Another show I really enjoy watching that's gonna be offed after season one. sad

Oh well.  I haven't seen it since the first ep.  I just keep forgetting it's on because it's badly scheduled.  Bummer for Sam though.

Mary Steenburgen joins the cast of Bored To Death...

Yes!  I love this show.  It was created by Jonathan Ames, who was the second funniest person at LitQuake, after Amber.  So awesome that Mary will be on TV some more!

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Gregory Harrison, who played Chris's horrible abusive father in Miracles: The Bone Scatterer, and his mother's rapist on Strong Medicine is in my favorite sitcom, Hot In Cleveland tonight.  He's playing kind of a studly older guy that Victoria is enamored with.  Before Harrison became a (pretty great) stock villain in everything, he was the beefcake guy.  Probably only Carol, Rick and I are the right age to remember that.  LOL!

I remember when he, Tim Busfield, and that bald dude from "Bonanza" would climb up to the roof of his RV, drink beer and jaw on about life.  But I have trouble remembering last week.

Really?  It's my favorite quote of his.  Another one I like is one they used on "Studio 60":  Time flies like an arrow.  Fruit flies like a banana."  Groucho could always be counted on for a great quote!

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Dangit, Aimee Garcia is on Off The Map tonight, which is airing in PP's spot, which is airing in GA's spot.  Even as much as I love Zach Gilford, I just cannot get into that show.  But I'd watch Aimee do a dramatic reading of the phone book.  She's so irresistible I can barely stand it.
