Uh ... not quite. I've been watching House for years. The new guilty please rather starts with a T and ends with with a D. LOL

Hey, Sydney Tamiia Poitier is on PP tonight. Neat!

She is? That's great! I'm still watching the show.

I quit for a while, but got back into PP.  It has been better lately, I think.  The stuff with Charlotte was amazing.

 Thank you, Deb, that just made me literally LAUGHING MY BUTT OFF!!! lol lol lol

But I'm loving the show so far! It started on German Television two nights ago and since some actors are going to be attending RingCon this year, I said I'd have a look into it and I immediately got so hooked, I had to continue watching it (in English of course)!

And it's great to hear Being Human's going to be renewed!

It's okay. Not the best show ever, but I thought the pilot was entertaining enough.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

It's getting better.  Maria, did you watch Prison Break, by any chance?  If you liked that one, you might like this one. The premise and the plots are negligible, but I like the characters.   And I can't wait for T-Bag tonight!

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I watched about 1,5 seasons of Prison break when it was on TV here but then I fell off the wagon. sadly. I've been meaning to have a little marathon with that one too, sometime. Maybe I'll check breakout kings too. smile

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I understand, Maria. I personally got a bit bored with season 2 myself. I have watched all seasons, and I know a lot of fan weren't happy with seasons 3 and 4 either. Season 4 is totally different from all the others too.

Yeah, what happened to The Beaver? I remember seeing a trailer months and months ago. I'd love to see that one, though.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

It just played at SXSW and got some excellent reviews.  They're probably going to give it a limited release this year.  I was very leery before, but everything I've read in the last couple of weeks leads me to believe that it's going to be very good after all.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Can I just say that the US incarnation of Being Human knows all my buttons to push. The characters are so wonderfully tortured, it makes my fangirl heart squee in all right places (in a very subdued kind of way, because, you know... McPunisher). Sam "Doe-Eyes" Huntington is great, and even though I can't say I liked Aidan (or Sam Witwer, for that matter) much in the beginning, he's starting to grow on me. Though I must say, the pregnancy thing in this week's episode was a little too much.

And for anyone who might be watching the UK incarnation of the show, this is going to be a major spoiler, but...

I heard they killed off Aidan Turner's character in the last episode. Too bad. At least he can focus on shooting The Hobbit now.

That's exactly how True Blood works for me! LOL
But I still enjoy Being Human US. Never watched the UK version, though.

Actually, outside of JoA I have only seen Kris in Final Destination and that is a movie I wouldn't "suggest" to anyone.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Can I just reiterate how much I hate cliffhangers? Because Being Human (US) finished this week's episode with a pretty huge one. Next week is the season finale, which I'm guessing will end in another cliffhanger. Gaaaah!

I'm really liking Being human US. I'm happy it got second season. And for some wacky reason I always love it when people get knocked up, especially in supernatural stories.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of the knocked up part, to be honest. I mean, come on, this is the 21st century. People should know better! Even werewolves and vampires!
