Im on spring break now. Im so happy about it but wish it was longer. I just wish I could get out of Georgia for it. Its boring having been here for over 3 years with nothing much to do..

After three weeks of being a bad workout-person (due to sick kids and making my knee worse), today I finally got to do a proper workout. eh, 3 hours all together. Am I nuts? 30minute walk to the town + back. 1 hour at the gym. 1 hour at home doing my excersice with weights. Now I feel great and purified inside out!
Sorry I've been a bad dorquete around these parts of webdom. Something about forums and my mobile broadband just doesn't click together very well. I get the error-message frequently.
How has everyone been?

Thats great, girl! I workout everyday.
Ive been doing school and Im planning on doing a little studying over spring break. Ive done some shopping already over the break and Im going to be seeing a few movies and doing more shopping. I also had a heart to heart with my bestfriend today. Ive been truly happy for once in a long time. Also my bestfriends boyfriends brother and I are probably going to date after we get to know each other better. Hes 22 and lives in North Carolina.

Now my bestfriend is going to treatment and things went from bad to worse. Im hurting now and not going into details at all. Just please pray for her.

Okay, after hearing devastating news from Japan all day, this picture is not what I wanted to see here, sorry.

See, that's the thing. This is off the coast of Japan. They say that this whirlpool thing is still out there swirling around. It's really weird!

Its horrible what happened. This week was the craziest spring break ever!
First a friend who was also my bestfriends boyfriend ditches us, my bestfriend goes through the toughest time Ive ever witnessed through our entire 6 year friendship so far, horrible economic times, and now the tsunamis and hurricanes. What is this world coming to...

2012. If I believed in that kind of stuff I'd say the Mayan calender is right. But I have to admit, it's starting to scare the crap out of me.

That picture is amazing Deb and definately puts things into perspective. You are so right. Definately makes my problems seem smaller than what's happening around the world. Scary stuff indeed.

My cousin might move here this summer to stay a year for school junior year. Her boyfriend and her finally broke up and this time for good. Hes being a jerk still to her. Hes just like every other guy. She has a promise ring and yet he still wont take the hint...

OK OK so I remember there is a thread on here somewhere about celebrity look-a-likes but I couldnt find it. This is a photo of Andy Lee....a VERY funny radio announcer in Australia. (Love him and co-star Hamish lots!) Anyway, saw this photo and all I saw was James Franco.

being sick is a great way to spend spring break.:( I've had to cancel lots of stuff I had planned. Hopefully I'll be better by Saturday to take my day trip to Jacksonville, Texas. At least I've been able to catch up on some shows and watch some Joan of Arcadia.

Always fun to watch some JoA. I have a feeling we will NEED to do that after Chris's appearance on House next week because I think something really bad is going to go down.
Get well soon!

So Jacksonville is a no go. Still getting over this cold or whatever it is. Grr. Just don't think it would be good to be in the hill country right now with all the pollen and everything else floating around. We aren't allowed any personal days for the remainder of the school year so I want to make sure it heals up before the madness starts.
At least Jane Eyre opened today! So excited! Of course excited for Chris too. I've recorded reruns of house to get me in the mood.:)

I'm so sorry you can't go, Lindsey. It always sucks having to cancel stuff you were looking forward to. Happened to me in October when I wasn't able to go to the Bobby Long Concert after I returned from London, but my sick foot made it impossible to go.

Gosh, I'm SO pissed at my Dad right now. He stood me up AGAIN and didn't even BOTHER to call me and apologize.

My friend in Australia who is part Japanese has most of her family in Japan. Luckily everyone is okay.
And Lysa is a lot better. She and I are talking a lot again.

sorry about being ill and daddy issues. sucks when gloomy things crap all over beautiful springtime. Japan tops it all. I keep getting shocked by the news. Awful things. I hope the country gets a quick recovery. maybe not only for the people, but also for the whole World's economy.I'm not an expert or anything but I'd imagine this effects a lot of things. Also, of course, I just wish that we could be over with the damn earthquicks and tsunamis. Makes me feel like the World is slowly coming to an end. pains me to know that the quality of life on this earth is just gonna go worse and worse for the whole lifespan of my spawn.
oops. didn't mean to get so gloom and doom. sorry. bad new aside, how's everyone enjoying the spring?

Yeah the disaster in Japan will be in repair for a long time yet. The Australian ecomony has already dropped. We are quite connected to the Asian market. But honestly I think thats the last of the worries for those in Japan. I am happy to report back though that everyone I knew there is fine. Watching all the damage on the tv, especially after the quake in Christchurch it feels like the world is angry or something. Hopefully natural disasters will be held at bay for awhile yet.

yeah, I didn't mean to be naive or seem as the economy is more important than finding all the loved ones - they're all someone's loved ones. breaks my heart. healing will take time and by then there's another catastrophy.
