Not quite an April Fools joke, but still this happened to me today (actually one day after April fools, I know):
It's Saturday, right? So I sleep in late. Means I am still in dreamyland at 10am, dreaming a very good dream (don't remember what, but it definitely was good because I was all confused when I woke up). So I go to answer the interphone. Turns out there is some "church" person waiting standing downstairs and starts talking sh*t like "Hello, my name is xyz, I am at your door now and I wanted to ask you if I could put an invitation to <insert name of celebration for Jesus I have never heard of before, thank you.> in your mailbox."
Wow. I was -> speechless. Okay, my mailbox may not show immediately that I don't believe in God or that I never go to church anymore these days, but STILL ... it was F***ING SATURDAY!!! AND IT WAS F***ING TEN AM!!! And this is already the third time people like that showed up at my door. I hate this. I wish there was something I could do about that. *sigh* I bet it wasn't even a real church. I think there are some dubious sects in this town here, fishing for new members. Sorry, just needed to rant about it a bit.

I was actually thinking about doing an April Fool's joke for the website, like posting a news item that Chris got cast as the lead in something really big, like the next Superman movie or something.

Did anyone watch the Kids Choice Awards? It was so much better in the 90's. Two stars from Degrassi went, Aislinn Paul and Munro Chambers. They were never even shown at KCA though.

I just too the kids to my ex for a week. A week from now I start a senseless three week course. So now begins the last week of freedom for a while. I don't even need to think and stress about the apprentice/school-stuff. Any suggestions on what I should do with my precious time? I know I'll do gym almost every day (but that only takes 2-3 hours of my day) and go clubbing with a friend one night. What else?

Oh, I absolutely have a chosen family, since most my real one is gone now. I did get to see a lot of people I haven't seen in years today though. And I really wanna stay in touch with them. That's the silver lining I guess.

Sometimes I wish I could choose my "family" ... lately I feel so disconnected from the people who are supposed to be my "family". But then again, there aren't many people left to choose from anyway.

Look at this pit bull mix with dazzling blue eyes. She's a rescue named Lady who was saved at the last minute. She's got Husky in her, which is where the blue eyes come from. She's just so gorgeous. Please don't buy pets, RESCUE!!!
