Chris has a role in "Sleeping Around" which is being filmed now in North Carolina. I followed up on a Twitterwatch post by an actress from the movie that said, "It was a pleasure to see the acting skills of Jesse Bradford and Chris Marquette on set yesterday in an upcoming film called Sleeping Around ."

Also in the film are Reid Ewing and Molly McCook.

I see that there was a part listed for [EDWARDO] He is a drop dead gorgeous, sexy Cuban cigar boy....3 lines, 3 scenes (97)!!!! However, I hope that Chris's part is more substantial. :applause:

This must've come together very quickly or he probably would've mentioned it when he wrote last month. It also may explain why final casting on the unnamed September project got pushed back. I've been trying to touch base with the filmmakers on that one to see if things are rescheduled, but if he's working elsewhere I'm guessing not.

Hell, I could get to Charlotte. Wonder how much longer filming is going to last...

Chris is not listed in the cast. Maybe someone dropped out and Jesse asked him to come on board. They're longtime pals.

The title already made me suspicious, and then I read the summary on imdb. "A screwball sex comedy"? Does that mean it's another Girl Next Door? Hmmmmh, not sure if I'd want to see that without Chris, but if Chris is really in this I'm gonna watch it of course.

Well, hopefully it will be a more "evolved" screwball sex comedy. But if Chris is in it I will watch it ...and I like Jesse Bradford.

I don't really see Girl Next Door as screwball. Just Friends is screwball. GND is just a great teen comedy in my book.

Ive seen No Strings Attached and Friends With Benefits. They are okay movies. I like Natalie and Mila and Justin so much!

Sleeping Around has found an owner, but it's still looking for distribution --- outside the states. The end of this article says it comes to theaters in 2012. It damn well better hurry. It only has 2 months left before it makes the article a liar...

That's great news! Though I guess I'm gonna have to wait for the DVD for that one. Kinda sucks that my US DVD import shop has gone bankrupt, so it's just a little more difficult for me to order the rarer stuff now. Let's cross fingers I'll be able to lay my hands on it somehow.

I kinda think this article doesn't mean much though. It's not going to play theatrically before the end of the year here. I promise you that. Maybe in a small handful of "selected theaters", but that would just be a token release in advance of DVD. Come on, it's Oscar & Holiday season. There are no screens for this kind of film available out there. It's nice to see some movement, but my guess is we'll probably hear nothing else about it until it hits DVD, maybe in 5 or 6 months.
