That's hilarious!  I thought the Beckhams were my favorite until I saw Gwen Stefani.  And then they got better from there.  It's nice to see a little meat on those Olsen bones for a change.

I wonder if Ebert has gotten any nasty letters from Okies.

Re: Misc Stuff

Anybody watch 'A Gifted Man' new series on CBS with Patrick Wilson?  I have to admit it looks pretty good.  Was definitely intrigued.

Re: Misc Stuff

I watched, because I love Margo Martindale.  I liked it a lot.  I also watched 2 Broke Girls.  Very funny.  And The New Girl. Also excellent.  But my favorite new show so far is Person of Interest.  The pilot was pretty spectacular.

Re: Misc Stuff

Can't wait to see Person of Interest!  I love Michael Emmerson.  Looking forward to seeing him play someone else other than "Ben" from Lost.  I have Revenge recorded too.  I haven't checked out the other comedies.  A lot of interesting pilots this year.

Re: Misc Stuff

I watched the Person of Interest pilot, and I have to say, it didn't do much for me. Don't think I'm gonna keep watching that one. I very much liked Ringer and Unforgettable. I haven't watched the A Gifted Man pilot yet. I think that's all the new fall shows I'm gonna give a try. Oh, wait, I had Terra Nova on the list too for next week.

Re: Misc Stuff

Maybe I'm biased in favor of Person of Interest because I like Jim Caveivel and Tarji P. Henson so much.  You know me and cast.  I still haven't watched The Ringer.  Unforgettable does look very good, but I didn't see it either.  Yet.

Can someone explain to me what possible logical reason the people of Terra Nova would have to go back 85 million years to the time of the dinosaurs instead of going back say one million years, after they're gone and the earth had recovered from the extinction level event that killed them?  Just seems incredible goofy to me if you're trying to save the earth and the people on it that you would take a bunch of humans back to BEFORE an huge impending extinction event that would kill them all, IF the could survive living with dinos.  TV Guide doesn't have a lot of hope for this one.  They say it's pretty silly and so expensive that it would have to be a HUGE hit to last.  I would advise not getting attached to it.  Somehow, I doubt it will make it through the season.

Re: Misc Stuff

My mom and I watched Chris's episode of House with Amber Tamblyn in the episode also. Its so great a second viewing. I have a question though: did his character make up that identity based off of one of the people he killed?

Re: Misc Stuff

It very well could be that he killed that guy Danny that he obviously met in rehab, but the guy's dad said he o'd.  So maybe he just stole the guy's books and claimed his name when they found them.  They left a lot to our imaginations.  I like that.

Re: Misc Stuff

Seth was on The Daily Show tonight.  It made me think about how hard Harvey the Hutt fought against Fanboys having its buddy cancer comedy aspect left intact.  And Seth shot his mouth off about it too, ironically.  And here he is with this movie that's getting great buzz and that obviously means something to him.  Makes me wish he'd fought for Fanboys instead of going over to the Dark Side.  I love Joey so I'll see it eventually.  I really wanna see Moneyball at the moment.  Right in my wheelhouse.

Nice to see some roswell stars stepping out these days.  Especially Nick Wechsler, who played Kyle, on 'Revenge.'  That is actually a good guilty pleasure new show.
