Oof! That's gotta hurt... I feel bad about this for Chris's sake but at least it's even being released at all.

A release is better than nothing especially a dvd release. Some great American movies arent even released in America yet like Mandy Lane.

Someone just e-mailed us via the site, asking whether we're going to put up pictures of Chris from The Double. Has anyone looked for stills from the movie? Is Chris in any of them? (I mean, duh, of course we're gonna put pics up. Once we have any.) I must admit I haven't really looked specifically for stills. (Does that make me a bad website admin?)

EDIT: Okay, a quick look around seems to indicate there's only been three stills officially released. They have Richard Gere, Topher Grace and Stephen Moyer in them. No Chris. Booyah. And with the movie being dumped on DVD with a super-limited theatrical release, I think that's all we're gonna get. The movie doesn't even have an official website, does it? Our best bet is the DVD or Blu-ray from which we'll hopefully get some decent caps. Cross your fingers that the US Blu-ray will be region-free, otherwise I'll have to wait for the European release since I can't play US Blu-rays and I don't think I wanna buy the US DVD.

Yes, there's an official site. Scroll up to post #55. And last time I looked (Monday) there was maybe 7 or 8 stills on there, but he's in none of them of course. You don't honestly expect the casual fan to understand how any of this stuff really works, do you?

EDITED to add: There's 10 stills on there now. He's in none of them.

Some photographer joined the Stephen Moyer website I'm a member of and he posted a link to his flickr account and the pictures he/she took on set. Of course, between all the drooling for Moyer, I kept my eyes open for Chris and I DID FIND HIM!!!

Hopefully we'll get permission. *fingers crossed* Btw, official site now says: In Theaters Nov 4th. So they moved it out again, it seems. At least it's not opening alongside In Time anymore.

November 4th? But some of the members of the Stephen Moyer page have already seen it! Oh well, maybe they got an early release or some special screening.
I just hope this movie will make its way to my theatre somehow. *sigh* I hate feeling left out when new movies arrive.

So I've found loads of interviews with Stephen Moyer (which is great for me as a fan of him) and Topher Grace, but NOTHING that involves Chris (which sucks for me as a fan of him). Bummer. I would have loved to link some more stuff here.

I now know the "other" twist. I won't reveal it and I have no idea how it will play within the context of the story. But I suspected it after seeing the interview above where the guys are talking about accents and Stephen says that Topher did really well with an accent in the movie too, though he wouldn't say what it was. That made me suspicious. And I was right.
