completely random but....

There are some people that really want to make me vomit! I need to learn not to read work emails before mondays and bed time! already frustrated for the week!

So I come home from a day at my parents' place, turn on the TV and what's there? The House ep with Chris and Amber! It would be so cool if the dubbing wasn't as horrible as it is ... or if they wouldn't dub it at all.

I met the riot grrl founder/feminist rockstar Kathleen Hanna from Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, and Julie Ruin on Sunday! I went to a screening in Atlanta of Le Tigre On Tour documentary film then was there for the q&a she was having with womens studies Psychologist at UGA. And it cost me only $5. The documentary I saw and bought cost $20 on dvd. She is my idol and it was the best day! I got 5 autographs from her and we took 6 pictures together! I took pictures of tons of the autographs and alot of other things! I will post some pictures soon. I even email back and forth with her now on her business email and its really her and she loved the Bikini Kill shirt I wore! I will get the pictures of Kat and I developed tomorrow though. I brought an old-fashioned camera with me since my dad wouldnt let me borrow his digital camera. My parents met her too!

Thanks Lindsey!! She is so nice and calm! We took one picture together with both of our hair in front of us and another when we both attempted to make moody faces. I couldnt though she just makes me smile. She actually makes time for her fans and doesnt judge people!

I've been here a little less lately. Sorry. I just don't do Forums at school and seems my evenings go with a little FB and a lot of TV before I pass out at 10. I'm pathetic really. But school is fun I'll bet you didn't expect to hear that from anyone but a first grader I've got the most laid back degree of all. only thing they make a fuzz about is that there should not be days off unless you're sick. the assignments are given so much time, I've got way too much time in my hands there. up to the point of getting angry at FB for not entertainning me. lol. or surfing all together. now I'm a little obsessed about drawing a C casette (of all things!) to finally have an assignment that can't be done in 1-2 hours.... and then wait for the rest of the day for lunch and getting home... talking of lunch, I saw two TJ lookalikes at lunch yesterday. Or they looked more like they could be little sisters of said TJ.

It was a really amazing experience!! I cant stop listening to Le Tigre and Bikini Kill now!
When I found out JD Sampson of Le Tigre is in Atlanta with her choir MEN now and she didnt show up it was kinda disappointing but maybe someday I can meet her too!

good to hear that Deb! I need to rack up my volunteer hours at the SPCA so I can do that. It would be nice to have a visitor every once and a while. I really want a small dog. The debate between getting a dog and going back to school to get my masters is a close one! They cost about the same

Deb, I posted your autographs yesterday. Since the envelope holds stuff that's not that easy to replace I chose the safer shipping option and you might have to sign for it. I hope that's okay. I just wanted them to arrive at your house safely. It means too much to me.

Usually if you have to sign for something and you arent home, here they leave a note saying what time they were there and which post office you now have to go to and sign to pick it up. Thats what they do here at least!

Yeah, it works like that here, too. Either my neighbors sign it and keep it until I come and get it or the postman takes it to the local post office where I can pick it up the next day. But at our post they said they don't know what the American post is going to do, maybe they just put it in your mailbox without getting it signed.

Well, I sent a brown envelope and I wrote your name and address in BIIIG letters and my address is on the back, maybe h'll realize that this is not some stupid IRS letter. I just checked at the German post website, it looks like it has reached America. Should arrive soon.
