What is wrong with the Americans? Obama wants to reform and instate state-funded healthcare for everyone, and now he's not even getting support from his own people because it is too expensive?? At least that's what they said on the radio this morning.

That's because the nutbag right wing has been scaring the bejeebers out of everyone, telling them that under this program, healthcare will be rationed so they might not get the care they need, and that there will be "death panels" (thank you, Sarah Palin) that will decide when your care will be cut off so you can just die already and stop costing the tax payers money. They have the elderly thinking that this new program will destroy Medicare --- which is a gov't run healthcare system much like what the dems are trying to create for everyone. They have everyone running around screaming socialism. "Obama's a socialist! He's going to turn American into a socialist country! Nooooooooooooooooo!"

The truth is, during the month of August, America went batshit crazy. People were screaming at each other at town hall meetings put on by their congressional reps and senators. They were carrying the most disgusting signs, talking about killing the president. Literally. People were bringing guns to these meetings. One idiot, who should've been immediately arrested by the Secret Service, brought a loaded A-15 semi-automatic assault rifle to a lecture by the president. WTF?!?

George Bush got away with having all his protestors at all of his events sequestered in "Free Speech Zones" at least a mile away where no one could see them, and they were put in these giant cages that looked like kennels for humans.

And this president has people right outside where he's giving a speech with loaded guns and signs about how he's Hitler and they want him dead??? This is insane!

Last week some guy got in a fight with another guy at a town hall meeting and got his finger bitten off!

I thought I was going to be proud of my country now that we have a brilliant president who actually cares about people more than corporations. But I'm not. I'm ashamed of this freakin' clown college I live in.

I cant believe people are bashing O for not mentioning God.
People can worship Gods and Goddesses, even purple rocks! Freedom of religion means any religion. As long as people arent close-minded or cult I could care less if they are odinist, wiccan, catholic, etc.

It'd be wrong to make anyone watch 2012, since it's probably the worst movie I've seen in the past decade. I even contemplated leaving the theater, and I would have if I hadn't sat in the middle of the row with plenty of people sitting on either side.
