Re: The Double

hehe big_smile it was pretty OK (+ I found a new apprechiation for Topher's talents and looks, and got creeped out by Gere's shrinking eyeballs), but there was only one really good Chris scene and he was all over the place in it. good luck trying to get proper screen caps from this one!

Re: The Double

Hee.  Sounds like fun.  Every time I see Topher, I just like him more and more.  He's terrific.

Anne, I've got "bad" news for you. Moyer and Chris don't have any scenes together. Moyer is also only in the first 20 or so minutes. And he's got an ugly scar right across his face.

Enjoy! Vidcaps are in the works. Oh, and there's a couple of Mr. Pointies. Deb, maybe you can go and post them in that thread later. smile

Re: The Double

Well, I just finished watching the movie.  I loved the scene with Chris and Topher looking over the pinboard.  And I loved the ending too.  Everything else, not so much. It's not awful or anything, it's just not great.

Re: The Double

I actually kinda liked it. Like Deb said, it's not great, but I felt entertained enough to want to keep following the story. The ending was indeed probably the best thing about it. It's certainly more than watchable and I think I would have enjoyed seeing it on the big screen as well.

Re: The Double

He made some funny faces in this scene.  I'm not sure how I feel about his silvery satiny tie.  But I love Topher's

Anway, can't wait to finally see the whole thing. I don't care how much they are in the movie, I just want to see them. And that they don't have any seens together is also okay with me. That way I can drool over both without feeling guilty. big_smile

I found the German DVD in a store last week, but I didn't buy it, Marquette and Moyer in one movie require definitely the BluRay.

Re: The Double

I thought Moyer was very good in what we did get to see of him.  Snarling evil.

Re: The Double

I saw it over the weekend.  I thought it was pretty good, actually.  Nothing to write home about, but a good little spy thriller.  I noticed that one of the DVD extras was a trailer, but it was a good trailer.  Not the excrable one that all but ruined the movie, but one that would make you want to see it.  Wish they'd made that one in the first place!

Sheen & Gere did have powder blue hair in one scene.  I don't know why the color was off in spots.  Stephen Moyer did a great job with the little he was given to do.  Same with Stana Katic.

Re: The Double

The color was off in spots because they didn't seem to care much about the look of the film.  Not the best production values I've ever seen.
