Another new credit has appeared on IMDb. There's not much info on it yet, but I guess it's a TV show that will air in the fall? Chris's character is listed for an ep called Life Sentence and we already have a character name, Ian. Good ol' Dom Monaghan is in it too! It's already shot and in post.

And The Odd Way home's status has changed from post-production to filming.

Crackle TV, eh? That's a web-based thing, wikipedia tells me. And it looks like it's not available outside of the US. Awesome. (Not.)

PS: I asked a friend of mine with a US IP address to see if she could download it. She can watch it, but you can't download it. And she's tried all the tricks in the book. Looks like they know how to protect their stuff. Guess all the non-US folks will have to sit this one out.
UPDATE: I remembered I had something called Hotspot Shield installed, which masks your IP address. With that running, I managed to watch the video. Guys, Chris totally rocks this one. He's all over this thing. Man, you all need to install Hotspot Shield and watch it. I made tons of screencaps too. Let me sort through them. They're not terribly hi-res but okay. Stay tuned!

So, this is what I found out this afternoon. It's not a fall TV show. It's actually a minisode produced to be shown exclusively online for something called Crackle TV. And it was put online this Friday, so it's freely accessible. To US residents, that is. And here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv7I8t1ryMQ

As I already said, you can only watch it from a US IP address. Meaning people outside the US can't watch it (unless they know how to circumvent the IP restriction).

So what is this episode all about? I'd classify it as horror/fantasy, and I absolutely loved it. Chris totally rocks this one. He's one of the two main guys, and he's awesome (and hot -- when he doesn't get bashed in the face, that is).

I made a whole lot of screencaps, which I'm gonna sort through later today. Stay tuned for some really lovely Chris goodness! And, man, it was high time for something like this to come along. Finally something new where we can revel in all the goodness that is Chris Marquette!!

PS: You remember the photo with the make-up where his face is all beat up that he used on Twitter for a while? I'm pretty sure it's from this project.

Unfortunately, since this plays mostly in a prison, the majority of the other caps aren't as good and are also much darker, so don't get too excited. I'm not sure I can go through the rest of the caps today because I have tons of chores left to do. But I'll try, all right?

I watched it. Really good. Intense. And yet another thing that deals with God. Wow. I bet he got the job because it's Sony and they love him. The one thing I'd like to see screencaps of is when he's watching the bad guy from beside the tree. He looked gorgeous!

Yeah, he reminded me a little of Noah Wyle in those scenes where he wears the facial scruff. It's probably the dark hair and dark eyes... Screencaps are now up, I did sit down and work through them. Quality isn't super great, but it's the best I could do with the resolution of the video file. I don't get why they don't offer this in HD.

I'm sure they're good enough and that I'll thoroughly enjoy playing in them. Wish the first part of the show wasn't so darkly lit. He really had some series upper lip fuzz going in that part, which is something I've always wanted to see. That clean-shaven but for the chin fuzz look is just kind of weird, I think.

After this scene, he's completely clean-shaven. Then in the flash-backs, he's got about half this much fuzz. Interesting how we got three different looks in a 22 minute show. Well, five different looks if you also count how he looks after two separate beatings.
