...and Chris Tweeted this morning about what sounded like flying from LA to... somewhere. He talked about being bored at the airport but it was too early to call anyone to chat and how he could call his uncle in Florida and bore him with his "ramblings". Why is he back in LA? Is Mitch dead already? WTF???

Love this picture - exciting to see these pics and follow ups. Big hopes for this movie. Agreed its frustrating to follow indie films in the early years - who knows when it will actually get released but at least its getting made!

The guy who's been posting to Twitter says the Kilimanjaro shoot is over. In 24 days? How can that be? I guess the never actually go climb the mountain? WTF? That's a serious bummer. What the hell is this movie even about then? Failing?

Maybe they need to raise more money to shoot more? Or it might be another short to put on something like kickstarter or show to producers to turn into a big feature? Just ideas.....

Actually, the only thing that makes sense to me is that maybe the producer was only working on part of the movie. The NYC part. Looking closely at his posts, he never actually said the shoot was over. Technically, he said his days on the shoot were over. It could be that only the NYC part of filming has wrapped. And maybe Chris is traveling because there's a break in the shoot, or he's just not needed for whatever they're actually shooting now. I've asked on Twitter, but no one has answered.

I just ran across a movie directed by Ryan Piers Williams on cable. It's called The Dry Land and Jason Ritter and American Ferrara are in it. I can't stick around and watch it, but it looks like my kind of flick, intimate human, indie drama.

Thanks, Maria! I did mention Ryan Piers Williams Twitter somewhere before. The pics of Chris on the set actually came from his Twitter. I'm also already following the KiliMovie one. I'll look into the one of Abigail Spencer, though. You never know what they might post.

Wish I could go but tickets expensive! Checked into it last year. Suppose to be awesome. Glad its previewing there.... SXSW has gotten lots of notoriety over the years, maybe it will show at Dallas AFI Festival? Sometimes the same movies come to that one too...that would be awesome
