Previous cast mate, Amy Smart (Just Friends) is great. And Fred Weller was amazing as Brian Wilson in the biopic, The Beach Boys: An American Family. This could be really cool. Another first time director though. I think the important point is that Chris is getting a lot of work back-to-back-to-back. We've got momentum on our side now. With that kind of volume, there's bound to be a payoff.

I found some news carefully stating that this movie is very possibly based on this real life serial killer called Derrick Todd Lee

Not sure that's the case. The plot descriptions I've read seem to indicate that it has something to do with organized crime, corrupt city officials and white supremacist groups. I did just notice that another person Chris has previously worked with has been added to the cast. Alex Solowitz played Bobby 911 in Alpha Dog.

Interesting reading about that serial killer case I've never heard of though.

This is a decent sized production. With name stars. I think it's got a good chance at being theatrical. Maybe not major, but at least hitting the big cities.

Whiskey Bay’ is the biggest thing right now, and it’s set to come out in the spring or summer, I think. Chris is working towards the Venice Film Festival, and it’s really receiving a strong festival circuit.

Chris is in it a few times. Sadly, he does not have weird hair or a weird mustache, or sport a crazy accent, like DaFoe and Dillon...
