"Friedman" (Aaron Himelstein) has a very small role in "High Fidelity". He's one of the little boys in the park. Watch for him.

Awwww, it's been so long since I saw that one, I had no idea our little Aaron was in it!

Wow, I have High Fidelity on DVD, I need to rewatch and watch for Aaron!
It's one of my favorite Cusack movies. Which reminds me, I need to expand my Cusack collection ...

I'll check out Premium Rush, love Joseph Gordon Levitt
I saw Guilt Trip last night, it was actually really good. I don't know why it didn't get good reviews, Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogen were the perfect team. Totally relatable for people that have dysfunctional family relationships! But still realistic too.

Les Miserables was soo good! Hugh Jackman was truly amazing. It took us a week to actually be able to see it - it's only playing in 2 theaters here in Dallas and any time we went the times were sold out. That's a bit unusual these days.
Also saw Rust & Bones, Marion Cotillard was incredible, I never saw The Artist, but my parents actually preferred her performance in this than The Artist. The story is amazing, the characters fascinating, but incredibly intense. Some people had to leave to take a break, but definitely worth the watch if its your cup of tea:)
So I've been on a roll with movies The next ones I want to see before I get movied out are Life of Pi and Silver Linings Playbook. I hadn't realized how out of sinc I was with movies this year! just no time to go.

I finally saw The Hobbit in HFR 3D last night, and now I don't ever want to watch a 3D movie again without HFR. The picture was so crisp, and no blurring during fast camera moves. Really great improvement to 3D, though I still think the movie works just fine, if not better, in 2D.
My only problem now is that none of the theaters in the area that do original versions also do HFR. I had to drive all the way to Münster for this. Sometimes it sucks to be living in a country that dubs everything.

Teejay - I hear the imax version is really good. My sister said it was like sitting front row at a play seeing the actors on stage. So I might check that out to see the difference!
I tried to see Life of Pi in 3D the other day & went in early due to traffic at the movies recently and there was a rat in the theater! Scared the bajeesus out of me! I told the manager, they gave me free drink & popcorn. I waited for them to clean the theater & check it out but even with people there I just couldn't sit in the theater. Too uncomfortable. I won't be going there for a while!

We don't have any IMAX theaters within a radius of maybe 200 miles, so chances are slim I'll ever get to see an IMAX movie. Plus, unless I went to the Netherlands, they would always show the movies dubbed into German. Ugh.
I've had a mouse in a theater once, but I actually didn't mind that much. It was above the screen in the very front, and I figured, hey, as long as it's not in my apartment... A rat is something else altogether, though. Not sure I'd be comfortable watching a movie, knowing there was a rat there. I see them outside all the time, because I live near crop fields, but again--as long as they stay out of our house, I'm okay.

Wow. How true this is. One of the producers or Fanboys, Dana Brunetti (who is now an Oscar winner for The Social Network) took this photo in LA...

watched a great little movie from the 80s over the weekend, My Dinner with Andre with Wallace Shawn [the princess Bride] and Andre Gregory. Definitely worth the watch! Interesting conversations happening in the movie that get you thinking. Too bad I was too anxious to really soak it all in, but still enjoyed it nevertheless!

I saw a couple of movies this weekend too. I saw We Bought A Zoo and Hysteria. The latter is wonderful. Highly recommend it. I have a new crush on Hugh Dancy.
Oh, and last weekend we saw Pitch Perfect, which is a lot of fun. I think I have a crush on Anna Kendrick too.

Oh, Pitch Perfect is one movie I'd like to see, too, but I am not sure if my OV theatre will get it. Maybe I'll wait for the DVD. I have a crush on Anna, too.

I think you'll enjoy Pitch Perfect. I also watched Hugh Dancy in the sweet little Indie romance, Adam on Sunday. I loved it. Yep, got a new crush on this Dancy fellow. He's adorable and a really terrific actor.
