Where to start...

I probably have a great deal to say about this show, but not tonight. All I will say tonight its that watching and waiting was agonizing. And not in a good way. And I'm not satisfied with the outcome. Nor am I fogiving Showtime for cancelling Huff after only two years. Because I have a serious belief that the best season of any great show is the third. And how can that be if you cancel the damn thing after only two? Are you listening Moonves, you cretinous idiot?

That's something I want to write about. Might as well be here.

All I feel like saying tonight on this brand new board is if you love Chris, you have to see Huff because he shows colors you've never seen before. He's sexy and weird and menacing and kind of pathetic really. But I'd do him. What?!? I would! So are we supposed to be PG-13 here or what? You should probably tell the smut queen where the line is. Because I confess that James was good for the smut. MmmmmHmmm. Beautiful, Legendary Screen Cap # 58 was very inspirational. :-) (see Deep Black deleted scene, you know, once it's posted) <tease alert> I mean, the guy was just gorgeous in that first ep.

For anyone who just stumbled in here and you've never seen it, we'll hook you up with screen caps and video just keep checking back.

I think I should say something to his Huff performance(s) too.
It's completely different from everything I've seen of Chris before (like his performance as Adam in JoA), but I liked it! I like this ... mixture from sexiness (yeah, sexiness ) and darkness and menace and ... Deb, TeeJay, you know what I mean! LOL

Cool! Blythe Danner just won her second Emmy in a row for playing Izzy. She talked a lot about the cancellation. But she was still happy to win again. Oliver Platt was nominated for playing Russell too, but he lost.

No, she didn't tell any reasons. But we don't need any. The show was supposedly drawing less than one million viewers a week. No show can last with those numbers. It's just very sad.

But I did learn the proper way to pronounce Anton's last name, it's Yelssin.

Yelchin sounds Jewish somehow. If it's anything like we would pronounce it in German, it would be ... well, Yelchin. I can't describe the 'ch' sound for this one because you don't have anything like it in English. But it doesn't sound like Yelssin. But, hey, if it's Yelssin, it's Yelssin. Maybe I should record the 'ch' for you as a sound file.

I heard on the radio that 24 got a few Emmys and Grey's Anatomy didn't get as many as expected.

24 didn't just get a few awards, Kiefer won Best Actor and the show got Best Drama, just for the record. And my boyfriend (ahem), Steve Carell's show, The Office got Best Comedy.

Anton Yechin will be in next week's all new, very intense-looking Law & Order: Criminal Intent. His hair's straight and short and kinda reddish brown. Very different.

As you'll see in part two of our interview with Chris, there was supposed to be way more of James. And he was supposed to be really, really creepy and far darker than he came out. They even wanted Chris back for the third season that never came about due to cancellation. Man, that sucks! As much as I love what we did get to see Chris do on that show, now I'm livid that we'll never see what they really had planned for him when they hired him. It would've been great TV.

For the record, Chris has never seen those epsiodes so he's not sure what all got cut, but he did tell us about one deleted scene in particular that might've thrown cold water on my little Sexy James fixation in his first episode. I mean, YUCK! You'll see...

You know what would be kinda funny? Chris said he never saw the Huff episodes he was in. I'd totally burn them onto DVD for him and give them to him. Wouldn't that be weird? Although I'm sure that if he really wanted to see them, he'd have his manager get them for him. Right?

This is cool! Anton Yelchin is guest starring on the new CBS show, Criminal Minds as a potential teenage serial killer. I didn't know till I saw the credits that Paget Brewster, who played his mom, Beth on Huff is a regular on the show. Wonder if it's a coincidence or if she got him the gig. Of course, it's probably a Sony show so it could just be that factoring in again. Also, CBS's parent company also owns Showtime. I'll let you guys know if it turns out to be any good.

Wow, that was great work from Anton! Bravo! Really, some of his best work. It's worth downloading. His curly hair is back. Not as long as Byrd's though. I like it. It's just about the best length it could be, unless it's super short like in AD. Geez, there I go talking about hair again. What is it with me?

i saw huff...mmmm..very interesting this side of chris acting...the bad side looks amazing ...great job...very short but i love it. i´ve never seen chris like a bad guy...but he did it great!!

Originally, there was supposed to be a lot more too that role, but they lost Chris to a film shoot so they weren't able to wrap it all up properly. Also, James was even darker as originally conceived than what ended up onscreen. Apparently, they got nervous and ended up cutting some of the darker elements of the character out. It's a real shame.

Chris told us that he'd love to do more darker roles. I personally loved him on Huff as well. It was something totally different from what he had ever done before, and he came off great as somewhat of a bad and creepy guy. I hope he gets to do darker stuff in the future too. Wouldn't you love to see him play something where he's just completely despicable, something where we'd love to hate him? I think that would be interesting, to say the least. (And I'm sure he'd pull it off.)
