Graduation test screening in LA on June 5 ::: You're invited!

Calling all Chris fans who live in or near Los Angeles! Mike Mayer, the director of Graduation, has extended an invite to Chris Marquette fans to join a test screening of the movie that will take place on June 5 at 7:30 PM in Los Angeles, CA. He said that they're looking for "younger fans", ideally ages 13-21.

Since this information only reached us tonight, we're sorry that it's all just a little short notice, but if you can and want to go, please e-mail us at the latest on Monday by early afternoon (EST) with your age, full name and contact details. These will have to be forwarded to Mike Mayer to get you passes into the production company's lot and get the directions to you. In case we receive a lot of feedback, please be aware that we'll be operating on a "first come, first served" basis.

Unfortunately, none of us live anywhere near there, so nope. It's a shame. How often do fans get a special invitation like this? If I'd had a bit more notice I might've been able to fly out there for it.

Yeah...and it would have gotten you all on the list to get on the Paramount Studio Lot which is where the screening is too. Getting on the studio lots like Paramount is near impossible any more unless you know someone and have a reason to be there.

Sometimes things happen with short notice in this town though. Maybe another opportunity will become available.

Thanks for dropping by, Brian. You have no idea how much we all wish we could be there. It would be such a kick for every one of us. If you hear of any other screenings, do let us know. We are widespread. I can get to almost anywhere AirTran flies pretty cheap with a little notice.

Bring it to Atlanta!

Hey, tell Mike he oughta put together screenings and street teams in select cities, like Atlanta. Hit the malls. Make glossy postcards with pics of the cast and hand them out to teens and young adults. It works!

Thank you for your post, Brian. Unfortunately we got zero response from fans who could and want to go. Guess four days is just not enough to round up fans from just the LA area. I still feel kinda bummed about that.

This is what Mike answered when I told him last night we didn't manage to find any Chris fans who can go and if he managed to find fans of the other actors who had notices posted on their fansites:
