Uhm, not the firewall, but the WLAN. My brother said the firewall would be okay the way it is.

Dude, I don't know anything about the Windows firewall, other than that it supposedly sucks. You should try to install ZoneAlarm, the version I sent you that works with Vista. If it still doesn't work with Google desktop, then I guess you need to surf with just the Windows firewall.

Well, I have Avira, something called "Windows Defender" and the Windows firewall. My brother said that's enough but I am not so convinced about the firewall after I read what the link you sent me said. I tried to configurate it, but I don't think I got it right. But I need help here.
