Welcome back, Simon. Glad you're here again to hang with us crazy girls.
Thanks, Maria!
I watched it in the cinema, and I have to say, I didn't like it much. The story was very convoluted and hard to follow at times. It was filled with clichés, and the "princess gets saved in the last second by the underdog hero" got really old the second and third time around. I think they titled it a "space opera", but to me it was nothing more than a mediocre sci-fi film that wanted to be epic but wasn't.
I mean, it's not terrible or unwatchable or anything. I guess I just expected more. And I have nothing at all against the cast. They all did a good job. It's just the writing that I don't think was particularly great.
We wanted to quickly let you know that we've given chris-marquette.com a bit of a facelift. The content hasn't changed, but we've switched the site to a new content management system, which comes with a slightly different layout. Check it out if haven't already! We have a shiny new header image and everything.
If you notice any broken links or links that still lead to the old website, it'd be fabulous if you could let us know. Thanks!
Chris and Anton Yelchin will be attending a Broken Horses press event where you can also submit online questions: http://whatsuphollywood.com/calendar/br … press-day/
There's also a new trailer and a statement from director James Cameron about the movie.
I've made a handful of screencaps from the trailer: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=275
And here's a screencap from Chris's one short scene in the trailer. Looks like he's playing the son or the boyfriend of the lady where Chu is living when he comes to the US.

You can pre-order the movie on iTunes, release date is March 3.
A poster was just released. Chris is credited in 7th place. Not a big role then, I'm guessing.
The film sounds vaguely familiar. Don't think I've seen it, but I remember looking into it at the time. Could be it sounded interesting but never came to my original version theater over here...
Chris is currently performing in a theatre play called "Proof". It premiered on Jan 14, 2015. More info here: http://www.moththeatre.com/shows Here's a review: http://www.lasplash.com/publish/Los_Ang … /proof.php
Deb dug up some photos.
Maybe we should post the link to the teaser trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnFSa42Z2VQ
It's domesticelephant's birthday today!
New release date is now slated for April 10, 2015. Amazon.co.uk already lists the DVD, but no details yet. I think it's safe to assume it'll go straight to DVD, right?
And here's a poster:
For Deb, I hope you have a great one!
Found this on Twitter (or rather Instagram) yesterday:

@DaveLepage2
@Chris_Marquette Had a blast working behind as well as in front of the camera on "Chu And Blossom".
Is it wrong that "Just Friends" was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this captcha?
Yep, agreed.
Chris tweeted yesterday the got the Twitter app for his phone and also set up an Instagram account (username christophermarquette). (I was tempted to reply something along the lines of, "Just having the app doesn't help, you need to start actually using it too." )
He's posted two videos so far, you can view them here, even if you don't have an Instagram account: http://websta.me/n/christophermarquette
Wow, January's a big release month next year. Can't wait!
