#1 Re: Square Eyes » Taking Woodstock » 01 Feb 11 :: 20:20

yeah definitely! like I said, I'm watching it now and I can't even see anyone in it that remotely could be him. Unless she was zooming in on all of the extras. lol.

#2 Re: Square Eyes » Taking Woodstock » 01 Feb 11 :: 19:31

This girl who I'm friends with on facebook (but is just an acquaintance from high school) made her status saying that she loves this movie and there are all these great people in it and listed them and said "chris marquette-even though he's uncredited" and someone else posted that they can't believe that he wasn't credited for his part.

It's on HBO as we speak and I'm watching it again and I don't see anyone in it that could be him. I think she was probably just mistaken.

#3 Re: Square Eyes » Taking Woodstock » 01 Feb 11 :: 18:53

ok I have a serious question regarding this movie. I have seen it over and over again and a couple people have said that Chris makes an appearance in this movie, uncredited. I know that a handful of people he's worked with are in it so I could see how he may have just done a stand in scene or whatever just to do it but I've watched it since and am convinced that they are wrong. Am I blind or are they crazy? lol.

#4 Re: Chris On Screen » The Rite » 27 Jan 11 :: 21:54

I talked to someone who was at the premier and they said Chris' role was "all of about 2 seconds." I'm pretty sure that was not a literal statement but disappointing, none the less. sad

Other than that, the review she gave was that it's just your typical exorcism movie, no more or less. I'll still go see it but all of the reviews and talk about this film from the get go has really diminished my expectations of it. ugh.

#5 Re: All About Chris » Nick Cassavetes' Gotti Movie (formerly I don't know where to put this) » 27 Jan 11 :: 21:49

Although I am a fan of James Franco, based on looks alone I think Chris would be a better fit for John Gotti Jr. Just from pictures it's hard for me to see how they would turn Franco into Gotti Jr. and I guess Chris has a closer resemblance, if you can say that. Plus, we all know Chris would deliver and it's about time we saw him in a bigger role.

I'm probably entirely too biased and unfamiliar with the subject matter to even comment, but that's what I think smile

#6 Re: All About Chris » Nick Cassavetes' Gotti Movie (formerly I don't know where to put this) » 26 Jan 11 :: 01:28

yeah sorry, I really wasn't sure where this would fit under, I haven't mastered the message board yet unfortunately sad The executive producer of the movie confirmed John Travolta as John Gotti and I guess there are talks for James Franco as John Gotti Jr. I, personally, would love to see Chris share the screen with those two so I guess I jumped the gun a little... ok a lot smile

...and it's not really anything exciting or really dealing with Chris, for now wink but I found it interesting and/or hopeful.

I guess they are making a movie about John Gotti and Nick Cassavetes (Alpha Dog) is reportedly rewriting the script. I remember reading that Chris and Nick are big fans of one another so maybe he'll write a part for our boy? One can only hope!

#8 Re: Chris On Screen » Dear Roommate » 10 Jan 11 :: 04:44

I asked my friend if he was able to get his hands on a high res version but he said that the vid was sent to him from a friend who received it from a friend, and so on and so forth, can you say viral video? lol! He has no idea where to look or who to contact but he said he'd keep his eyes open.

#9 Re: Chris On Screen » Dear Roommate » 08 Jan 11 :: 21:07

I can definitely ask! I'll let you know if there is anything he can do, though I'm not sure if he directly knows anyone associated with the production :0) And I could not agree more about getting to see Chris get the girl, it's been too long!

#10 Re: Chris On Screen » Dear Roommate » 08 Jan 11 :: 20:35

Haha! My friend has an internship in LA and has been lucky enough to meet some really amazing people, and I'm lucky enough to get passed on all these goodies from him :0)

Yeah I did submit those pics! I've been checking around on twitter for more, since that's where I found those pics but so far, I've got nothing more.

I also heard that Chris was at the Call of Duty Black Ops launch party so I was looking for pics from that event for you guys as well, but I came up with nothing.

#13 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hi! » 28 Dec 10 :: 03:30

yeah I definitely do not know how to make my own avatar, I have no talent in that kind of stuff! I will definitely choose one though :0)

#14 Re: Introduce Yourself » Hi! » 28 Dec 10 :: 02:06

TeeJay: Not a problem, I don't mind!

Anne: No I have never met Chris, unfortunately :0( I'd probably be beyond nervous to ever meet him, so I'll live vicariously through everyone else's stories!

I just filled out the survey though!

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
Joan of Arcadia <3

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
That's a tough one, I'd say Joan of Arcadia or The Education of Charlie Banks

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
any/all Adam Rove scenes are good, minus the whole cheating scandal.

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Once again, Adam Rove for the win. I just liked his laid back personality and how he genuinely cared about Joan. He knew what he was passionate about and defended that with conviction, which is honorable.

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?
This site, of course :0)

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
I was doing research for my developmental psych class. I had to watch a movie and write a paper on it so I chose The Education of Charlie Banks and my thesis was how childhood abuse/neglect/deviance affects a person throughout each stage of their life, the subject of my study was Mick but I was immediately won over by Chris and his character so, I did a little "off the record" research hahaha.

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
I know a lot of people say Bob Dylan, which I think would be amazing. I'd also love to see him as Lloyd, John Cusack's character in Say Anything.

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
Yes! Alpha Dog and Just Friends. I actually went to an art school here in Chicago my freshman year of college and a good friend of mine from there did a screening of Infestation for the film and video department. Although it wasn't in a theater, it was still a group experience, big screen and all.

Own any Chris movies?
I own most of them, all by coincidence actually. I never made a conscience effort to buy all his movies but I kind of just collected them without really making the connection that he was in all of them.

Have anything special recorded off TV?
no :0(

What do you like most about Chris?
It's evident that he completely submerges himself into every part he plays, and I feel that very rarely do you come across an actor who is willing to do that. Also, from interviews that I've read he seems like a grounded, intellectual, down to earth person, not just some crazy hollywood guy with no grip of reality.

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
Which book, album, artist, changed your life? Everyone has one and I think that is a pretty telling bit of information about someone :0)

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
"I just like hanging out with you cause you're Jane" <3

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
I can't say that I have. Even if I was presented the opportunity to meet him, I'd probably be way too nervous to actually go through with it.

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
probably a dvd of his? I don't know, I'm not very original, lol.

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)

B) because I think everybody would love a weekly dose of Chris Marquette OR C) because I'm dying to see him with a love interest again, it's been too long.

Hi!

My name is Ashley. I was referred to join the message board sometime ago when I submitted some pictures of Chris but I just now finally got around to actually doing it :0) I'm never good at these introductory things, so I'll just leave it at that I'm a huge fan of Chris and his work. Anything particular anyone wishes to know, feel free to ask. You all seem so nice, definitely one of the more friendly message boards/forums I've come across, and that's rather refreshing!
