Sorry it was a google pic - not a jpeg - figuring out how to change it --- will post when i do! wink she's a laberdoodle - curly, black & white - kind of looks like a springer which is great since that's what I grew up with.

Mel - Degrassi for 12 seasons?  can't believe it. I guess it did premiere when I graduated from high school.  Many how time flies - think about that with CSI too, and somehow it still seems good to me after being on for so long.

Recording Nashville - looking forward to that, Arrow, and Vampire Diaries - those are my sunday afternoon treats. smile

That's awesome for putting yourself out there - I've tried those sites and either the guys are too shy or want to get married like tomorrow.  I'm more in-between.  I'd like to get married, but not in the next 8 months.  But glad you made a new friend - it's always nice to have friends! smile

I would say thank goodness its Friday but we have saturday school - october, march & april are the HARDEST months for teachers!  Trying to take it a day at a time smile  I did rent the first season of Breaking Bad - I watched 30minutes of it yesterday and really enjoyed it.  Bryan Cranston is THE MAN.  Loved him, even in Malcolm in the Middle and ESPECIALLY in Drive - surprised he wasn't nominated for that one...

I was gonna say Louisiana - they are on every block in New Orleans - like star bucks smile  So yummy!  I love that chicory new orleans coffee smile Glad he stopped to take a pick with the barista!

Sleepy boy. He's looking very fit though!

Interesting, I didn't realize James was in it - he's such an odd ball. Lol. But that's why I like him smile  I'll check it out!  wink

Vampire Diaries still is rocking all television in my opinion.  If your not watching you really should.  This past third season was incredible!

Yup - it was - that actress looked familiar, was she in Fried Green Tomatoes???? She looked like Allie Sheedy at first....  I miss House sad

#292 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 14 Oct 12 :: 05:47

Just recently watched an episode of House with Aaron Himelstein, 'The Socratic Method' - so good!  Miss seeing him and of course Chris on tv!

#293 Re: Square Eyes » The 2012/2013 fall season » 14 Oct 12 :: 05:42

I just watched Walking Dead last weekend and am hooked. Going to record the 3rd season and watch the 2nd one this week on dvd.  Have you guys seen it?  It's AWESOME.  It looked a little cheasy to me at first but once I got in the mood with the characters I was hooked.

I also really want to see Breaking Bad - I know its not knew, but I saw a preview on it on the Walking Dead dvds and it looks awesome and I just love Bryan Cranston.

To be honest guys I'm really liking 666 Park Avenue smile  And of course Revenge!  Nothing like two good Night Soaps for a Sunday Night!

Oooh, Deb - the new American Horror Story Asylum starts Wednesday!  wink

#294 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 14 Oct 12 :: 05:38

big_smile Love it Deb smile   Finally back from dog sitting at my parents.  Miss my pups but glad to be home.  I came home from my weekend part time job and crashed this afternoon.  For some odd reason I can't sleep at my parents.... on that note i'm going to the doctor tuesday to get a physical and have my thyroid checked.  I get sleep and I'm tired, I get no sleep and I'm still tired.  It's driving me CRAZY! At least I've been able to manage though better at work even within the tiredness.  Church group and friends are helping me get through.

#295 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Birthday Thread » 14 Oct 12 :: 05:34

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chris and to Aaron.  Sick I missed them sad  I bet they are celebrating together!  wink

#296 Re: Square Eyes » The 2012/2013 fall season » 29 Sep 12 :: 17:29

It's not a new show - 2nd season - great plot, setting and characters- a little gruesome and too much nudity for me though.  I want to read the books!  Everyone in my family is talking about them.

I'm really into Scandal - check it out on ABC.  Great cast.

#299 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 11 Sep 12 :: 13:12

Teejay - there is something in Benedryl that makes my stomach nauseous.  But i know it helps a lot of people.

I actually tried the amino acid L-theanine.  I took one L-theanine and one clonipen.  I also took half a clonipen in the morning and half in the afternoon.  I worked out and got 8 full hours of sleep last night.  Huzzah!

It might be a lot on the clonipen, but I think I need to just get my anxiety controlled down a bit and things will be better.  The doctor said it would be okay temporarily for a few weeks.  So here's to a new start.

The other night when I couldn't sleep, I just told my body it had to sleep between 9 - 5, it had no choice!  lol. lol I was just trying to train my brain in essence and I think that helped too.

Oooh, lots all pray, send out good thoughts in remembrance of 9/11 for victims and families.   O:)

You're so right Deb.  I did take xanax and it worked like a dream for insomnia but its really not suppose to be how its used. Unfortunately I couldn't ever use it during the day.  The L-Theanine worked, but it made me really really hungry! ha ha.  So I'm wondering what herb it comes from! lol.  Doing research now....

I think the main problem is that my natural sleep time is much later than the actual time I need to sleep.  Therefore I sleep great on the weekends with nothing but can't sleep unless I take something during the week since I have to be in bed at 9/9:30 really to be functional the next day.

I've posted this video before but it just makes me laugh!
