oh I totally know what happens, I just don't want to see it, but I will cause they are awesome. I am saving this new chapter for tommorrow, when I am awake and can enjoy it, although it would be nice to fall asleep with honeymoon dreams in my head. hmmmm how fast can I read. We'll see.

#302 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 10 Mar 08 :: 06:16

whoo hoo! I can't wait. Sorry I haven't been on as much. When I have time to get on the computer I have been catching up on my JOA episodes. Just watched 2X13, 2x14 and 2x15 tonight. Getting close to the end.:( Thank god for butterflies and the other fan fics out there!

#304 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Indelible Adam & Joan Images » 10 Mar 08 :: 05:58

I thought their kiss at the end of romancing the joan was pretty awesome, especially on his part. Slow and intense. Of course that is as far I have watched in the series so far. I hate getting closer to T&E. This episode in particular just illustrates how stupid and out of character Adam's betrayal is. But on the other hand the episode also kind of foreshadows T&E a bit too with the whole "The illusion dies so that something deeper can take its place".thing that little girl god talks about. Hopefully that was the point of T&E destroying Adam, maybe in season three the "something deeper" stuff would of happened. Damn CBS.

I couldn't open my door this morning and my car was half covered with snow. One entire side from top to bottom, the snowbank next to my driveway disappeared and blended right into my car.It is freaking crazy!

love the faux hawk!! Can't wait for the bit we will get of him in this.

#307 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 29 Feb 08 :: 07:20

Interesting little coincidence that shows just how small hollywood really is, but both John Patrick Amedori ( Loser Loner God on JOA:Back to the Garden) and Margarita Levieva (the Invisible) were both on some show called Vanished in 2006 but it looks like it only lasted a year.

#309 Re: Fanart » Butterflies Banner Pics » 27 Feb 08 :: 08:04

Awesome baby pic. Maybe you can use some shirtless shot of Linus to go eith the topless one of Joan. It would be cool to see if anything worked. Image editing rocks!

#310 Re: Fan Fiction » JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories » 27 Feb 08 :: 07:56

TeeJay. I just finished Why? I posted a review on fanfic. I posted it here first but I deleted it cause it contained quite a few spoilers and I know Notsofairy hates that. Sorry for almost spoiling, if you haven't already read it.

What did you read?

I accidentally went into the graphics portion of the MB for the fan fics and you guys were discussing the chapter when Adam had to paint Joan and I got spoiled! I knew I shouldn't have lurked but curiosity got to me ;/ Usually I don't mind spoilers, but if it's something I'm really into, DO NOT TELL ME!!

I am sorry, hopefully you already read Why? or I might have spoiled it for you. Maybe you should avoid theJoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories fan fic thread until I figure out how to delete my comments. If Deb or TeeJay cant do that go ahead. Sorry.

#312 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 27 Feb 08 :: 07:40

Hmmm. Much to think about. I don't know what I would like to see him in next, other than ANYTHING!! Seriously, TV would be awesome, just to get a weekly dose of the drug that is Chris. Big pic/small role vs. Small pic/big role. I guess it would depend on the picture. I suppose if his career followed that of John Cusack's (as most of you know is another of my fave's...see say anything) where he does a bit of both as long as it's quality stuff, I'd be happy. A little comedy, a little romance, some dark thriller...bring it all on!

Did you know that there's a lot of deleted scenes with Chris in them that showed his character in a completely different way? It was the way his character was supposed to be in the movie until they changed it.

That's interesting because I don't see it that way. How did you think the Pete in the deleted scenes was different from the one in the actual movie?

-TeeJay

Yes, tell us more. To be honest, I really didn't like his character, although Chris did an awesome job with it. I am curious as to how he came off different, as I haven't seen the DVD deleted scenes. (Yet)

There are no prequels for Why, Donna.

As for Old Wounds, I had started the last part of that trilogy a while ago (called "Follow You Home"), but I never finished it. I got a little tired, writing despicable Adam. wink Not sure I'm ever going to finish that one. Sorry.

-TeeJay

No, I totally understand, I didn't like Adam in it, or Joan for that matter (I found her too nice to Adam, when he treated her like shit), but your a great writer I just wanted to see was was gonna happen. It's all good though, there is tons of other awesome stuff here for me to read. Thanks so much.

#315 Re: Fan Fiction » JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories » 26 Feb 08 :: 08:02

Sorry, completely unrelated question. I am working my way through all fan fic and I was wondering if there is a prequel to Why? and if TeeJay ever end up going past Withholdings And Confrontations of the Old wounds series?

Okay I read the ones you recommended, except I can't find Go Nads

#319 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 26 Feb 08 :: 05:30

Omg, the Haircut was your first fic. You are amazing. I am totally blown-away. It was awesome. The part about bonnie going down, and Joan's reaction...perfection. Great, great job.

#320 Re: Fan Fiction » Taken (Rated R) » 26 Feb 08 :: 05:08

Yummy! Deb, I swear the way you write Adam, it's as if I can hear him, in his soft silky voice. You rock!Thank You!!!

#321 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 26 Feb 08 :: 05:03

HAHAHA Exactly! Deb, you and I think alike...of course all great minds do....in the gutter!

Donna needs a drool towel!  lol

BTW, there's a couple of Butterflies-related fics you might not know about on both FFN and here.  In the Fan Fic section here, you should read "Taken" and "Go Nads!".  And on FFN, you should read "The Haircut" by me and "Jane" by TeeJay.  That is, if you haven't already found them.  If you need links, let me know.  big_smile

Oh I totally need a drool towel...I have been scrolling around looking at pics on the various MB. I don't know which Chris I like better Linus or Carl. Release a movie, any movie dammit! I will try to find the links tonight, and if I can't find them I will ask you tommorrow. Thanks.

#323 Re: Chris On Screen » Choose Connor (a.k.a. The Politician) » 25 Feb 08 :: 22:25

Maybe one of these years some of you can come up and we can hit the Toronto Film Festival (only if something of Chris's is screening of course). It's like the number 2 film festival in the world after Cannes. It's held in September.

#324 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 25 Feb 08 :: 18:59

I think this is the movie where I first noticed Chris. He reminded me of a baby John Cusack, who I LOVE. And then I found you guys and I now love Chris all on his own!
