Yea, Rush is all that Hutch will listen to in his van. It was originally going to be Journey, but the powers-that-be with Journey wouldn't let them use their music. So Rush was the alternate. I know Kyle was a big fan of their's too.
Whenever Return of the Jedi was being filmed, in order to keep a semi-low profile, they actually called the movie, "Blue Harvest". The crew actually wore Blue Harvest shirts , hats, etc.. in order to keep the public from flocking to their filming.

That's a cool picture. I like the "Blue Harvest" bumper sticker too! smile

Hey Tina! Yes! I was walking by the TV when Jenn was watching the Numb3rs episode she had just recorded and sure enough, there was Jay. That was too cool!

I can only imagine!! We get together at a local convention once a year with the Star Trek guys here in town, and believe me, it's pure magic.

There's a lot of language, some drug use, and a butt shot. lol.
But I don't think it's enough to warrant an R rating .

In the first podcast they talk mostly about how much of a SW geek he is. And, trust me, you can't be a much bigger one. Which we already knew.

I could probably introduce you to 10+ people that are even bigger geeks. tongue

I can back Deb up and say that I'm 99.99% sure it'll be PG-13.

Ahhh, I get it....the image is reversed!

Yea, Eric and Chaz are both sitting right next to them to their right, but they aren't there. hmm

That's cool that they updated..kinda wink Cool picture too!
Yea, the guy behind the Fanboys with the dyed red hair is from our SW group. He also got to be one of the Stormtroopers in the dream sequence as well as a Trekkie. He had to wear this awesome Beatles wig in the Trekkies scene because they didn't want his red hair to stick out since he was playing multiple characters. big_smile

I kept staring at that picture because it looked strange how certain people were seated, and then I realized they blended in a couple of pics together to make that arrangement. I can see a few of my friends in that pic that weren't seated the way they have them in that photo. What a trip.

Yea, I remember you saying that about Kyle and Jaime....unless something recent has happened?
The girl that was at the party and here while the film was shooting was his girlfriend since High School(High School Sweethearts)- so they'd been together for quite awhile.
Not that I'm trying to pry into his love life or anything.... big_smile

In the pics from Ken's party that I sent you guys, you can see Sam's wife in quite a few. She is also in some of the pics from Sam's B-Day party that we went to. Her name is Rachel, and she is super cool! (Sorry, I'm at work and don't have any of the pics for reference) tongue

Man I wish I was that smooth back in High School! lol

Oh, and welcome Allatraka!!! My name is Sean and I am from Albuquerque, NM. I met Chris during the Fanboys shoot and eventually came across this site thanks to Deb and her postings on IMDB. I had shared a few pictures and stories from the movie and I enjoyed Tina, Anne, and Deb so much that I decided to stick around!

Hey I'm always willing to stand in the background of a scene! But unfortunately there's nothing lined up. I did come across a shoot at my job a few weeks ago though.
There's a film called "In the Valley of Elah" that was being filmed here in Albuquerque with Tommy  Lee Jones and Charlize Theron. They were doing a shot where Jones pulls up to the front of the airport terminal in a pick-up and he has a brief conversation with a female in the passenger seat before she gets out and walks into the airport. They took all evening to film this one scene. During the scene, there are tons of people walking by, as well as cars driving by, and after each take, each car had to reverse back to their starting position. There were about 30 cars total. It was pretty impressive to watch. I took a few pics with my camera phone but they are far from impressive. Anyways, since I work security, I decided to walk down to the shoot and talk to some of the crew guys since I recognized a few from Fanboys. They told me that it was the last day of filming and the movie was going to Tennesee for a awhile to finish up shooting and then they were done. I asked them if Tommy Lee Jones was a cool guy and they said "No". Lol. I'll leave out the expletives that they used, but basically, the general consensus was that he was not a pleasure to be around. sad

Yea, that's me! I am balding, but I still have some hair up there! Someone must've CGI'd my hair off! LOL. (Actually it's the lighting) wink
Anyways, that's my few seconds of screen time! Yay!!
Took about 8-9 hours of the day to prepare that whole shoot. What's crazy is that there were about 35-40 extras in this scene and you see maybe 10 of them. Fortunately I was moving throughout the room during the dialogue so I was able to be seen. big_smile
