LMAO. Haha, that just CRACKED me up!!! lol

I don't know if that really counts as a point since it's kinda accidently, but I think it should have a chance here too:

You're working from home? Oh, didn't know that. I sent you a short mail. Hm, better should have sent it to your home address ...

I didn't post the date of the interview here? Oh. Must have forgotten about that. But yeah, maybe they're going to take me because they have some pitfulness for me, because I had only two job interviews. Haha. hmm

#6328 Re: All About Chris » Mr. Pointy » 13 Feb 07 :: 17:55

Just another proof that we are truly the DORQUETTES! big_smile

What about this one:

Not as classy as the one from the end of the movie, but still funny.

Okay, so today was the day. I came homw an hour and a half ago and I felt terrible. No, horrible or awful. Awfully terrible. terribly awful. Choose whatever you want.
I don't think they're going to take me, since there are only four free jobs and they have a lot more people who want the job. I know, I wasn't quite convinced when I had this selection process and they still invited me to an interview, but I don't think it went very good. First I was a few minutes late, which sucked already. But I didn't do that on purpose, of course. Then they asked me some questions I wasn't prepared for. I mean, I of course did prepare myself for the interview, but then they wanted to know everything super-exactly. Why am I the right person for this job? Why should they take me? At some point I had no more answers. And because I had been late, I was sooo nervous during the whole interview. A woman asked me how many interviews I had already. Well, what could I say? This job interview was the SECOND I had in my life. Yeah, really. Two years of joblessness, two interviews, including this one.
I was so happy to have my mp3player with me on the bus back home, so I was able to calm myself down a little by listening to Snow Patrol. And now I want this day to end.

Not quite my favorite, but it still has a point, so it belongs here.

I don't have the time to look through the JoA caps, but here's one from Fanboys that I also like a lot.

Why do I have to think of shaving cream now?

#6335 Re: Square Eyes » Pan's Labyrinth » 13 Feb 07 :: 09:57

Well, maybe I'm going to watch the movie alone now. I wanted to make Alex go with me, but maybe I should go alone. I don't think he would let me watch it. LOL Ah well, depends on if he's going to pay or not. wink

#6336 Re: All About Chris » Chris at the FX Show in Orlando, FL » 13 Feb 07 :: 09:52

Maybe he couldn't talk to Chris because Chris was busy with Deb. LOL Joke!
But yeah, I thought the same, it sucks that he didn't talk to Chris.

#6338 Re: All About Chris » Chris at the FX Show in Orlando, FL » 12 Feb 07 :: 23:19

Ah cool, just watched it. Thanks for posting!

Hey, you're only as old as you feel! LOL
But yeah, the Fanboys DVD would be a great Christmas present. Or a birthday present for me and Tina if it comes out in January. big_smile

Yeah, I remember. That made me grin, actually. LOL
But actually he was able to scream at somebody already. Remember American Gun? wink

Think positive! Now you have something you can look forward to through the whole year! Well, 10 months, actually.

#6342 Re: Chris On Screen » Graduation » 12 Feb 07 :: 15:24

LOL That's from Just Friends, the scene where Sam and Mike talking about how many times he slapped the ham against her poster. But it was eight times, not eleven big_smile

Well, you know, I watched the Pilot episode and the second episode the day before yesterday and when I continued watching the next day it was kinda like I got used to the English talking around me, so I decided to watch another one. Somewhere there came a point where I was so used to the English, that I just couldn't stop watching it. Plus the episodes were so interesting. I mean, I couldn't understand everything of course, but the more I watched, the more I understood and that was just great. And even if I couldn't get anything, I kinda liked the show. I was at least able to follow the story. When I watched the first six episodes I thought they were kinda connected to each other because Paul contiunes to see Tommy, just the episode with Chris didn't fit it somehow. But the more episodes I watched, the more I got that not every episode has to do with Paul and his "journey" in the first place.
It's a bummer that there's only one season. Now we'll never know who's Pauls father. That's kinda sad.

Not that I can really tell, but I'm thinking that as an actor you get the chance to take certain aspects of your psyche and get to explore them openly, get to live them to the extreme. Like if you play a dark villain, you get to tap into that certain part of you that can be very mean and deceptive and multiply it and let it flow into the character that you're creating. That sounds ultimately fascinating to me. I'm sure it can be a heck of a lot of fun to get to do things like that, but on the other hand I can imagine that it must be very challenging to become a different person on cue. Imagine you're having personal problems in your life and suddenly you have to be this hilariously funny, goofy character in front of the camera.

You know, that is exactly the part of acting which fascinates me the most. I envy people who are able to do things like that.

My weekend was as boring as every weekend but I managed to watch 11 episodes of Miracles in a row yesterday, so that was not so boring. LOL

#6345 Re: Chris On Screen » Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown » 12 Feb 07 :: 12:48

Hey cool! I did know that he signed it but I didn't know where.

#6346 Re: All About Chris » If you had one question... » 12 Feb 07 :: 12:47

Yeah, that should go to the list. Shame that I can never come up with questions like that. roll

#6347 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 11 Feb 07 :: 22:50

Okay, I'll try as soon as I finished watching Miracles.

#6348 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 11 Feb 07 :: 21:51

Ah yeah, PhotoShop has this feature called "Weichzeichner", maybe it's that. There's a Weichzeichner and a Scharfzeichner, I guess I'll have to play with those a little since I don't have PhotoPaint.

#6349 Re: Fanart » Wallpapers » 11 Feb 07 :: 21:20

Hey Tina, how do you get those pics so big without any quality loss? When I try to get them big to wallpaper size they look awful because there's too much quality damage.
