Who played the latte-loving God in The Rise & Fall of Joan Girardi ?
Veanne Cox - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0185274/
Nah, I don't think they had any "God" related plans for her. In my eyes, she was just a bad person. I never got the feeling that she was supposed to be an antagonist to Joan. From a writer's point of view, I think she was brought in to stir up the relationship between Will and Helen.

I was actually surprised that Annie Potts played such a nasty character so well.
Was she supposed to be evil the same way that "Ryan Hunter" was, or was she just a bad person ?
Juliette Goglia, who played "Little Girl God" on JoA has a band called Topanga.
Who'd a thunk, eh ?

The other singer in the band is the daughter of drummer Burleigh Drummond.

I really wish that they could do a reunion movie. Most of the cast are still the "right" ages. It could be done, right ?
I used to hope against hope that there would be some kind of conclusion to My So-Called Life, but the cast has aged there, so it probably wouldn't work.
Oddly, when I saw Angela's Dad on "LOST" last year, to me, he was still Angela's Dad, not an evil guy's laywer.
Agreed. A Joan reunion would be nice, so would My So-Called LIfe. What character did he play on Lost? I didn't notice him. I'm ready for the next season!
Tom Irwin, aka "Graham Chase," played "Dan Norton," a lawyer, on "Lost" last season.
Always wonderful to meet new Joan fans.

I don't need it for myself. Obviously, I'd be laughed right outta here if I didn't own the DVDs. It's just that when they do run it at a decent hour, it wins new people over and I get to make new friends.
I'm sure that there'll be a few insomniacs watching JoA on SyFy, and they will come here.
Since you built it, they will come.
That's just so not fair. They should sell it to someone who actually wants to run it at a decent hour. I really hate Siffy.
Don't you have a TiVo ?
According to the TiVo, JoA will start over this Friday morning @ 5AM every week.
That's 3AM in Arizona !

The #1 best movie of 2009 according to MSN?
Kathryn Bigelow's The Hurt Locker, with our boy Jeremy Renner in the lead...

Man, I really wanna see that one!
I used to like him when he was on "The It Factor" years ago.

:doh:I will assume that this is not a rhetorical question (or else I missed the joke). Eli Brooks is the character Chris played in The Girl Next Door. He's Bree's favorite Chris incarnation.

I have yet to see The Girl Next Door :crying:
I'll have to watch the thing later, I just took a peek at it. Yay, Hambuger Mary's! That place looks like a lot of fun. I read about it before and they have a really cute website. If I ever get to LA again, I'd like to go there and check it out.
There used to be a Hamburger Mary's here in Phoenix, and it was nifty, but they closed a few years ago.
Who is Eli Brooks ?
Okie dokes, what was the gorgeous song (sung by a guy) when the sad Scoobies gather at Jane's house after the death of Judith ?
Is it this:

Nobody knows ??
This is kinda cool. I sent Brooke Nevin a message on Facebook, and she replied today, thanking me for my kind words and my awesome review of the movie (which made her want to watch it again). She also said Chris is a very talented actor and that it was great we thought she and Chris were well matched.
Well, Brooke, you were!
-TeeJay
I probably already mentioned this, but Brooke is the daughter of hockey great Bob Nevin.
Just watched this week's episode, and I loved it. I couldn't believe it was over when it was. Damn! Can it be next Friday, please?
-TeeJay
I wish that it was next Sunday already after the jaw dropping Thanksgiving episode of "Dexter".
:crying:
It just hit me, finally. Probably because she's smiling a lot in this movie. The thing about Brooke and why I find myself falling for her is that she reminds me of someone. Someone I love. Megan Follows. It's not that she looks like her, but she eerily evokes her, most especially when she talks and smiles.
I like Megan Follows, too. Sarah Polley also reminds me of her.
Yeah, I'll watch V. The movie's on after V. And there's no ep of The Forgotten tonight.
Acorn is not a TV station. Are you referring to me saying maybe Acorn would pick up the Jimmy Nail stuff? Acorn media sells tons of British TV shows and some hard to find American titles as well. You can check them out at http://acornonline.com/videos/c/295/. I got No Honestly, Wodehouse Playhouse and Thomas & Sarah from them. Now, I'm waiting very impatiently for them to pick up Forever Green and lower the price of The Ambassador.
Yeah, I actually was thinking that Acorn was a channel that showed oddball stuff, like they used to do on TRIO a few years ago.
Apparently, both Spender & Crocodile Shoes (series 1 & 2) are available in the UK, legally, and you can get bootlegged copies from a chap that posts on the Jimmy Nail boards at www.imdb.com.
Deb, don't you watch "V," also is ACORN a telly network where you live ?
"Get the shot !!!"
What movie is that emphatic line from ?
I would avoid anything shoved up my nose by a stranger
What's the bad news ?
Back from Wales now.
Did you go to Holywell ?
