Keep the faith, Mel. Your day might yet come.
We all fly out tomorrow. We'll hop on the MB and give you guys an update on how we're faring as soon as we can. Stay tuned to this thread...
Tomorrow? Wow.
Have fun you guys, although given the occasion I have more than enough faith that you'll manage that.
Oh wow. Sounds like the trip of a lifetime. That's really great. Not just for you guys, but for those of us who get to see all the cool stuff you bring back with you!
It's funny though, because the people that say "it's not a fan board it's a discussion board" are generally the people that don't want to have a discussion about the movie and their opinions on it. They just want to comment loudly on how bad they thought it was without actually discussing why, casting choice, plot etc. I don't have a problem with people who actually want to talk about it, just people who act like no discussion is necessary because of course their opinion rules all.
I'm not recommending caution, no. Not exactly anyway. I'm just saying I've gotten so geeked up for this movie so many times, only to have it ripped out from under us that I, personally, can't get too enthused about it until I know it's for real this time, that they won't change their minds again and shelve it. Also, I heard today that they might be only giving it a limited release --- something like 250 theaters, instead of the 1500 they'd originally planned. I'm sorry but if that's true, it sucks copious amounts of ass. So Harvey The Hutt can still get bent as far as I'm concerned. I do not speak for chris-marquette.com when I say this, but I remain incredibly skeptical at this point.
Fair enough. I usually pull away from getting to excited until a movie is actually released since it takes so long til I can actually see it anyway. Turns out it's a strategy that pays in more than one way.
Oh great, so caution is still recommended before getting excited about this movie? Of course.
Oh well, I suppose it's on the right track. Right?
Oh. Ok. I thought the 'cool' comment meant that he was evil. But, for some reason I always like the bad guys in kids movies better than the good guys, well usually.
But if the trade off is sequels then I can deal with his character being kinda good.
So it's officially official and out there now. Cool.
I hope he's the evil guy. I mean it's a kids movie, right? Evil guys in kids movies are just freakin funny.
4 minutes is quite catchy. with it's double feat. of timbaland & Justin timberlake. the term feat. still cracks me up, don't know why.
Chris held the bike for me so I could get on, and for some bazaar reason told me "Quando quando quando", and I somehow understood that to mean "Careful"
Okay that's just funny. dreams are queer like that though. The only dreams i've had that have involved Chris have been little segment like dreams nothing big or great or even memorable. Which goes for pretty much all celebrities. But then very few of my dreams make sense, except for the ones I control, I'm waiting for Chris to be in one like, it'd be pretty cool to be able to like direct my own dream with Chris in it.

I love that song.
Bic Runga's just awesome.
My iPod is pretty much filled solely with The Decemberists, Ryan Adams, Okkervil River, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, LCD Soundsystem and a few others scattered in there. I think I'm like you, Anne, I tend to listen to the same artists lots.
shopping is gooood, that always helps me. That and british comedies which is my escape of choice.
Some of my favourites...
sway- bic runga
sway - the perishers
(they are different songs, but just have the same name)
broken wings - clay aiken version (well it's the only version I like)
I will follow you into the dark - death cab for cutie
turn and run - neil finn
invincible - muse
still they wait - kurt nilsen
all time love - will young
when the stars go blue - ryan adams original, there are other good versions, but nothing really compares to the original
They've smoked a little too much dope?
Very top 40 list you've got there, illinoisguy, in general I don't like rap, hip hop, heavy metal or country either. Alt Country is a different story though, now there's some good music.
It's cool, and I'm not going to speak for others, but I can get a little impatient when you hear the precursor announcement and have to wait. I'm just impatient by nature, but it's okay, I need to be more patient anyway, at least that's what I keep getting told  .
.... I hate when you do that.
I'm with you on that one, Laura.
yes, I am rather transparent.
oh definitely, I tend to quite enjoy their sad/angsty scenes best.
OOOooh. Pics! And clean shaven.:D, oh he's gonna be one sexy little evil computer geek (evil being optional but preferred).
I had to choose from two different questions. I chose the question what is freedom and what does it cost. I finally i got it done it took me 3 hours to write.
Sounds like a hell of a question to write about. & 8 pages! Geez, I've never written an eight page essay in my life.

And it all makes sense...
Sisterdebmac wrote:That listed "Hot Young Hollywood Cast" (which is a very stupid way to put it) has exactly 2 people in it that I've ever heard of. Geez.
Same here, Deb.
I've barely heard of one.
And YAY for Chris on Cover, even if only small and in the corner, still on cover. Always good.
But, yes, the extras are pathetic, why do they even say "special features"? The only thing good about those previews is that (I guess) it means they're by selection and won't automatically play at the beginning of the Dvd. Why don't they stuck that making of they put on their website on there? I mean, we've already seen it, but you thought they would stick it on there since they have it.
Computer geek, eh? All good, then. All good.
That one person who said they never liked him. And now looking at him all grown up he makes them want to barf.
It's not them necessarily, it's a lot of people on that idiot run website. I need a nap.
Yeah, but there's people that I've never liked, they're not attractive to me. Example: Johnny Depp, never liked him, and don't find him attractive. I know a lot of people disagree with me but how am I supposed to justify that opinion, apart from 'I just don't like him'? Do I need to justify that opinion? It's an opinion, how is it more valid than the person next to me saying that they do like him and do find him attractive?
It's an opinion though, what did they say? they don't like the way he looks in the last photo? That's an opinion, how do you expect them to back it up? They're well entitled to it.
