Deb and I are currently working on this huuuuuge JoA story, called Butterflies. It's mainly about Joan and Adam. If you wanna read it, this is where you'll find it : http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3029235/1/
There's also an unadulterated version (R rated sexually explicit content!): http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3042947/1/
We're also working on a web version with pictures, you can find that one here: http://beam.to/joa-butterflies

Here are the board rules again, please stick to them when you post here.
Respect the people around you
Be respectful to fellow posters and everyone else. No slashing, trashing or bad-mouthing will be allowed here. There is no need to insult anyone in public, neither people you know in person nor those you don't. If you feel you need to get into verbal fights or need to speak badly of someone, do it off this board in private. If you absolutely must utter criticism, do it constructively and considerately.
Go easy on the emoticons
Emoticons (smileys) can be a great way to express what you're thinking/feeling. But use too many, it can get really annoying (especially if they're animated). Please don't use too many emoticons in your threads. Even if you're laughing out loud, rolling on the floor about something, two or three of them in a row will more than suffice. Emoticons are means to underline someone's emotions (hence the name), but they're not meant to spam the board with little smiley faces.
What to talk about
This is a Christopher Marquette board. Thus the subject that we talk about is him and his projects. There is an off-topic area where you can post anything that's on your mind (unless it's disrespectful). We're not limiting the board to any subjects that can be talked about, so feel free to let everyone know the things you want to share. But please pay attention that you post in the right sections. If you have something to say about one of Chris's movies, take it to the "All About Chris" or "Chris On Screen" thread and not the "Joan of Arcadia" one. Of course there might be overlapping here and there (and that's fine), but threads that don't belong will be moved.
Throw away the key
Threads that the moderators think are going nowhere or have been commented on enough will be locked. Meaning that no more replies to this post may be added. If you feel like you absolutely need to reply to a locked post, ask the moderators to unlock it. If a thread has been locked, we kindly ask you not to open another thread with the same subject.
Making yourself look unique
Signatures can be used on this board, and feel free to use one. But, please, we ask you to not make it too big or too flashy. Blinking on-and-off animated banners can be really annoying and those that are too big will have to make you scroll for ages to read the next post. Please think a moment about what you want to say in your signature with as little words/pixels as possible.

Well, Hutch lives in a garage, or at least has some sort of hang-out there. We don't have any confirmation whether or not Linus actually lives in the basement. Right?

Synopsis
Three stories of how America's obsession with firearms impacts its citizens are explored in this independent drama. Carl Wilk (Donald Sutherland) runs a gun shop in Virginia that has been owned and operated by his family for generations. Carl sees the shop as his family's legacy without paying much mind to what happens with the weapons he sells. When his granddaughter Mary Ann (Linda Cardellini) needs money for college, Carl gives her a job in the store, and while she's hesitant at first, she becomes fascinated with the merchandise as time passes. On the West Side of Chicago, Carl Carter (Forest Whitaker) is the principal of a high school where violence has become a sad fact of life. As Carl and his wife, Sara (Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon), fear for their young son as they worry he could either fall prey to the violence of their community or embrace it himself, Carl receives a severe emotional blow when Jay (Arlen Escarpeta), one of his most promising students, is discovered carrying a pistol. And in Oregon, Janet (Marcia Gay Harden) is a single mother still troubled by the death of her teenaged son three years before, who took his own life after killing a handful of his classmates in a violent incident at a high school. As Janet deals with sharp words from the community, many of whom believe she should be held responsible for her late son's actions, she is unsure how to handle her surviving son, David (Christopher Marquette), who is now of high-school age. American Gun was the first feature film for writer and director Aric Avelino. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Deb's first impressions when she came back from watching Just Friends in the theater:
OK,
My brown hoodie and I just got home from seeing "Just Friends". First impressions?
Ryan Reynolds has absolutely no shame.
This movie makes "The Girl Next Door" look like Tolstoy.
Chris is a really great physical comedian.
Poor Julie Haggerty.
Someday, Ryan Reynolds will have a hit movie. But once again, this ain't it.
Chris is the most adorable horndog ever.
I really miss the days when a comedy like this would've been rated R, and therefore edgier and maybe funnier.
I liked the wardrobe they stuck Chris in, especially the Dazed & Confused t-shirt. And the striped touque.
It's not the worst movie I've ever paid to see because I love a supporting player in it. Not even close.
See, Canadian movies don't have to be slow and boring. They can be just as goofy and over-the-top as American ones.
Chris has the cutest girly scream ever.
God, I miss "Joan Of Arcadia".

From www.ernestcline.com:
Basically, "Fanboys" is the sentimental story of four wisecracking X-generation guys from a small Ohio town -- a sensitive barbarian-type named Hutch, a computer geek named Windows, a basement dweller named Linus (Ed.: that would be Chris) and a decidedly more adult-acting Eric -- who set off in the 'Za Warriors pizza delivery van for the legendary and well-guarded Skywalker Ranch, the real-life Northern California wine-country headquarters of Lucasfilm Ltd., where "Episode 1" is being edited and finished under tight security for its May 21 date with destiny. Armed with a magical security key-card from an ex-Lucasfilm janitor (procured at a sci-fi convention), the fanboys hope to break in and watch the unfinished movie on an editing screen.
