but their discussion was about the story they were going to agree on, That Harvey Dent had died a noble death. And then they had the memorial service. I know they can bring him back, because it is a fantasy, but I hate when they do things like that.
THIS IS A COMPLETE SPOILER THING SO DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE
I found this article on IMDB
Eckhart Agrees To Third Batman Film
23 July 2008 9:10 AM, PDT
Aaron Eckhart would reprise his role from The Dark Knight - because working with Christian Bale is "phenomenal".
Eckhart, who plays District Attorney Harvey Dent in the sequel, confesses he "absolutely" would star in a third Batman film.
He tells WENN, "To work with Christian (Bale) all over again, and the cast, would be phenomenal. I think this movie is a movie of a lifetime."
Did I miss something? wasn't he dead at the end of the film?
I'm not sure anyone is going to get the picture. So, a clue: that is two-face (early in his career)when he played a really evil character.
Oldman was almost unrecognizable in the part.
Deb,
I just watched Nobody's Baby. Your description is exactly what I thought, weird and sweet. It is definately worth seeing, and it was nice to see a good part for Skeet Ulrich. He is an actor who feels like his talent hasn't really been tapped. And the twins were really adorable. Of course with my kids growing like crazy, (becoming yound adults), I am a sucker for a movie with themes like this one. thanks for the recommendation.
I know it is kind of far in advance, but I've been wanting to see this, so i am letting you all know. Touched by an Angel "An Angel on my Tree" will be on the Hallmark Channel on Aug. 8 at 12 noon.
This is classic, I quailify as a subdefective with a post in which I admit I am looking forward to an episode of Touched by an angel. Should I be embarrassed?
I started watching them on PBS as well, and I always had a fondness for them, although I am not sure that I agreed that often with them. I think the appeal was that they always seemed to love movies, most critics seem to loose that over time, and become more interested in their own reviews than they are in the movies. Roger and Gene never got to that point. I had pretty much stopped watching after Gene died, so I won't really miss the show, but it does feel strange that the show won't really be there anymore.
But i will still read Roger from time to time, and I do own a book of Roger's reviews (the only book of reviews I have) so that means something. And in the end, Roger wrote screenplays for Russ meyer, which is cool is a very strange way.
It is a crazy idea, but I do love someone pointing out that the increasing salaries of the stars are being taken out of the pockets of other people working on the movies. Believe me, it isn't just the character actors who are getting paid less to cover the higher salaries of the stars.
In Alpha Dog it wasn't supposed to be funny. I never think they look real, but they don't bother me when they are not used for "laughs".
I have avoided posting about this movie for a while, but I think I am ready. First it was fun to watch Chris do broad comedy. I haven't seen him do it in anything else. (Girl next door is a broad comedy, but his character isn't very broad).
And he is good at it, so his scenes were fun.
But this movie has one of those things which really bug me, fat suits. I don't know why it is supposed to be funny to see thin actors and actresses in fat suits, but I find it kind of offensive. It isn't as bad as blackface, but it really is the same kind of humor.
So, the movie didn't work for me, but Chris was good. (I hope he does another broad comedy sometime)

Well, I did see it. I'll write more later, but I will mention this. Everything around the Joker is fantastic. The character dominates the movie, it is electric when he is in the scene. I loved the way that we never learn anything about him. We don't know any details about him except what we see him do. No backstory, not even a name.
And Heath Ledger gave an awesome performance. I love the detail in his performnce with his mouth. He is constantly licking his lips, and other things like that. It is a very creepy mannerism, yet it is also motivated. However he got those hideous scars. I am sure that someone with those would be constantly moving his tongue over them without thinking about it, and it would develope into something like he was doing. He was doing alot of things like that in his performance, motivated creepiness.
Yes, it is from Leon, my favorite Gary Oldman performance
Have a great day!!!
