I'm ready for the new and final season to start back.  I don't know if I can wait until February!

#1177 Re: Square Eyes » Welcome to the Whedonverse (Buffy/Angel/Etc Appreciation) » 07 Jan 10 :: 21:42

That's so true deb. I do that with friends. I have faught and faught on whether to just buy the dvds. I got one season and I find that I watch it more on tv than on DVD! There is just something different about that.  Some shows are better on DVD though.

I want the  Buffy collector's edition. I have all the Angel stuff.  I miss Giles.  One time I had a customer come in with that last name and it took everything in my bones not to respond to him with laughter or in a british accesnt! big_smile

Dallas finds any excuse to shut down schools. Even if there are just patches of ice people don't know how to handle it! Hallf of the school districts were closed and it wasn't even that bad on the roads.  I have an interview tomorrow at a school and I hope for that sake the weather will be better.  The school was closed today.

I really wish that they could do a reunion movie. Most of the cast are still the "right" ages. It could be done, right ?

I used to hope against hope that there would be some kind of conclusion to My So-Called Life, but the cast has aged there, so it probably wouldn't work.

Oddly, when I saw Angela's Dad on "LOST" last year, to me, he was still Angela's Dad, not an evil guy's laywer.

Agreed.  A Joan reunion would be nice, so would My So-Called LIfe.  What character did he play on Lost?  I didn't notice him.  I'm ready for the next season!

Love these lists.  Especially #'s 1 & 2.  How did Shark Week become such a phenomenon! tongue

I understand where you're comming from Deb. Hasn't Chris said himself he prefers movies over film because of the diversity in characters?  It would be great to see him back on tv!  He's obviously good in the scary movies though.  Infestation was fun so this could be too! I always watch these type of movies even if they are bad!

yup, all good ones. I love Tabula Rasa.  Do you have DVR or tivo? you could record them.  I sometimes do that even with re-runs.  I find them comforting to watch when things get busy!

I'm watching the New Years Slay marathon on Logo. Right now, Go Fish is on.  One of the silliest eps ever. But for TeeJay, Wentworth Miller is the main guest star. He was so young, but still very Wentworth.  You might dig seeing it if you're bored sometime...

I watched it too New Years. So glad its rerunning now on tv.  It had some great guest stars including Amber, Jason Behr, Nathan Fillion - its were Felicia Day got her start too.

That is a stupid timeslot... excited  that new people will get hooked on the show though.

#1186 Re: Chris On Screen » Black Friday 3D - No Longer A Chris Project » 06 Jan 10 :: 05:34

hmmm... we'll see about this one. I actually enjoy 3D but I agree with you Deb on the writer.  It does seem like it si going to be a very low budge, horror fest kind of deal.  Who knows though...

That's craziness TeeJay! I'm suprised you actually staid on the phone to talk to him!

Life During Wartime is not out and no one knows anything about when it will be, as far as I know.  TeeJay was talking about the movie, Happiness.  That one came out about 10 years ago.  LDW is a sequel of sorts.  It actually has characters from a few other Todd Solondz movies too, like Welcome To The Dollhouse, Strorytelling & Pallindromes --- all played by new actors.

Thanks for the info... I imagine it will be dark as Welcome to the Dollhouse was.  I haven't seen the others but I enjoyed that one!

Did anyone catch Mary Steenburgen on Jimmy Fallon the other night?  She did a great job, seems like she would be a fun person to hang out with.  She has a new movie releasing I think this weekend with Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant.  Looks pretty funny!

Congratulations to those that just graduated!

I was brave and got bangs today...It's working so far. Hopefully I won't regret it a month from now!

#1192 Re: Chris On Screen » Life During Wartime (STRONG LANGUAGE - ADULT CONTENT) » 18 Dec 09 :: 22:53

Is this movie out?  I haven't been able to find it... Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

#1193 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 16 Dec 09 :: 03:57

couldn't have said it better myself! smile

#1194 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 11 Dec 09 :: 07:27

I need to listen to his music, any cd or song recommendations? I hear they are really good.  I was obseessed with My So Called life when it was on. A shame it was cancelled!

I've been doing my own Lost marathon, starting with seaosn one and working my way up.  Trying to get rebbed up for the new season!

#1195 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 11 Dec 09 :: 07:23

Losing both my dogs was a really difficult time for me! I understand how you are feeling. They become like family.  Let us know if we can do anything to help you! ~ Lindsey

#1196 Re: Square Eyes » "High School" World Premiere at Sundance Film Festival » 07 Dec 09 :: 05:49

That does seem like it is going to be a great sundance. I was suppose to go, unfortunately do to job situations and no money I couldn't! sad I'm excited about High School for Sean and also for Colin Hanks! I've loved him since I've loved Roswell! smile

#1197 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Dec 09 :: 05:46

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.  You and he, as well as his family are in my thoughts! Is there anything we can do for you? Are you doing okay?

#1199 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Thanksgiving 2009 » 03 Dec 09 :: 05:06

Perk up Deb, its just the first week! Things will be easier once you get settled in.  Glad you like your colleagues though, that's the main reason why I staid at my old job for so long! The people you work with can make or break your experience.

I have some interviews lined up for the next few weeks.  I will be certified to teach early childhood. My favorite age is kindergarten but I also like the upper grade levels too and am not too picky.  I like energy level and attention needed in kindergarten. Your busy all the time.

I guiltlessly had to look this person up! lol

William Devane was in '24' as James Heller in Season 5 with Ray Wise as Vice President Hal Gardner
Ray Wise in Infestation with Chris.

I cheated I know!
