Stoooooop!!!! Do you hear me, Anne's foot???!!! Don't make me come there.. I swear I'll hitch a  ride from Santa if I have to! :fedup:

Oh, Anne. Do you get enough magnesium? My feet always cramp when I don't eat magnesium pills. So I've got some that taste like chocolate. big_smile

As my sig might tell you, I'm finally on the christmas mood for sure. big_smile Today I wondered to my favorite movie theater's webpage and learned that there's a sale on tickets and a movie on that I'd like to see with my daughter. So, since today is really her birthday, we went. And had a blast. It was a real tearjerker that movie. :embarrassed: I hope noone noticed me wiping my eyes about ten times... But it was really good. Looked awesome for a finnish flick. big_smile
It was this finnish christmas movie about how Santa was born. It was published a year ago, the DVD is out and it's international now.. if you wanna see it... It was Joulutarina..Christmas Story. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0772176/
Hey, it was filmed 80 kilometers from my hometown. I once drove there on a snowmobile.. with a boyfriend. whole another story..

Good morning. How's everybody on this fine morning? big_smile

Well actually the weather isn't that fine and I got only about six hours of sleep last night... but it FEELS like a good morning. big_smile I'm feeling perky. I'm amazed. yikes I had a pretty crappy evening last night.. Pains again..causing the insomnia.. never mind. I won't whine endlessly...

Right now I'm painfree and having a good day. big_smile I won't spoil it by stressing about cleanup. That can be tomorrows purgatory. I promise I'll even lift the coutches upwards again so I can chase all the dustballs properly. roll:D Christmas cleaning and decoration and so on. Today I'll just chill. Cafe del Mar, Muse and all other nice bands on my ears; the boys on my sight playing nice for a change. big_smile I'm doing way too much webtime. I'd better write something creative.. Maybe I'll plan some more of my Twilight fanfic.. My Adam&Joan-one kinda hit the fall a while back. I'll just let that one stew for a while..

Oh, and why I ment to post: we didn't get the turtle. Bummer. I'll get a pair (yes, two of them. I don't want them to be lonely) of some nice species soon... big_smile I'm thinking reptiles. Or turtles. Or fish. Or birds.. Obviously I'm allergic only to the hairy-ones. big_smile

I'm sure Mr. Weitz comes through just fine. All the Chris' in the moviebizz are pretty talented! wink

Hey.. grhm.. wanna see something uterly absurd....? I made these for TM-boards.. Don't be shy to laugh at my expense... winklol:embarrassed: I've gone nuts. Twilight turns me into a teenager... :embarrassed:

Wow, most successful birthday party I've ever put together! big_smile The cakes turned out like pieces of heaven; all three of them big_smile For once, all the cakes on the same birthday are just perfect. So why the heck people didn't eat them as much as I did? lol I'm full...
The most important thing, of course, is that the birthday girl is having just about the best day of her life. I don't know if she's ever had this many friends over. big_smile And everybody is playing together well, no fighting at all. big_smile Success!
Now most of the adults just left so I got to sat down here for a while. My best friend and her kids are coming soon. She's gonna bring us an aquarium with a turtle. big_smile Finally we get a pet. And the turtle is named Jaska; that's kinda like finnish version of Jacob! wink

#1330 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 13 Dec 08 :: 23:16

Ah, Deb. A bath like that I could try too. Then take the shower. big_smile I often think if it would be nice to relax on a bath. I might like it more than sauna. Or not. My fear of drowning might kick in (I'll bet they have a -phobia- ending name for that too)... Can't know what you haven't tried. Is it half as good as a jacuzzi?
Last night I relaxed pretty well at sauna. I lied down on the top seat (the seat is about the same lenght as I am big_smile ), through some water on the rocks every now and then. Enjoyed the hot wave that came upon me. I could have fallen asleep in there. lol Did really good for my belly. I always get a bellyache when I lie on my back or touch my belly. Even the smallest pressure.. can't even do sports anymore if it involves the muscles around there.. Jaiks. Sorry for whining. I have a pretty good idea what it might be but I won't know for sure until the 29th of this month...

I'm beat! I did my cakes and stod up the whole time. My feet are... Never mind. Gosh, why do I keep whining.. If I vent here you'll hate me.. :doh:

What nice things did everyone do today?
big_smile
My cakes came out pretty good. The bread-one could have been bigger but I'll bet it tastes great. Some of the stuffing was left over so I put some on a bread and it was awesome. :drool: I'm a bit enthuastic to taste the chocolatecake. I've never before done it with the chocolate I used now. big_smile Tomorrow morning it's frosting for the breadcake and the creme-covered cake.. And this and that.. lots of little things to do. Funny how I feel less stress than a week ago even when I have more guests now and more food to prepare. big_smile And we have a kid having a sleep over and everybody is still up! Goooood, the noise around here.. It's 11pm, go to bed already! Usually my kids go to bed by nine but always a different story when there's someone having a sleepover...

Kids start pretty young, these days. The dating thing, I mean. My daughter is turning 7 and she has a boyfriend. lol They are even sleeping on the same mattress. roll My daughter is quite a romantic. She made a new friend when she was three, a boy. They were best of friends for three years. Then she started telling everybody how she's gonna marry him when they grow up. lol They boy freaked out and they play less together ever since. How typical of men! :rofl: They most be born with commitment issues! wink

#1331 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 13 Dec 08 :: 16:24

Is a bath really that great of an experiment you have to do it at work too? lol I haven't taken a bath since I was a baby, does it make me a freak? wink Not like I have something incommon with Rob, though. It's just showers are more common in Finland than baths. I quess it's about the hygien.. Much of bacteria in a bath...

Oh, damned. Hygien... I've got get cleaning again.. Another birthday tomorrow. I've got less than two hours to vacuum and wipe the floors of this 120 square-meter ( about 1291 square feet) house... Then I have to go shopping for some cakesuplies. I'll make a chocolate cake and a bredcake (is that even the right word? It's a salty cake made of bred and fish and stuff) tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm still gonna make one cake where we actually put the candles in... And the rest is just arranging stuff.. Oh man, this year these birthday parties are getting pretty heavy on the wallet.. It's a good thing we got a lot of tax refunds big_smile One of the nice things about living in Finland. They give out the tax refunds in the Independenceday, dec. 6th. Christmas money! lol OK, gotta go now... I'd rather stick needles under my fingernails than clean......

This is our new TV.
LG_37LG5000.jpeg
LG 37LG5000
http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pi/2-10788 … oduct-Info

JTT ordered in from some webstore (after carefully checking the prices in all the stores here and the web) and drove about 130km south and back to get it and save a bit in the delivery fees (Smart move, huh?:rolleyes: ). It was supposed to go to the livingroom but the way the boys have treated our TV lately, JTT didn't want to put the new one in the livingroom. So now it's in our bedroom. big_smile He plays his Xbox360 on it mostly. Sometimes movies. There's no TV-plug on that room so not actually watching TV there. But it's ok. I haven't got to test it yet but looks kinda huge. yikes:D Not as huge as the 60" or 52" ones in a store, though. That would be cool to watch movies on. big_smile
So in the livingroom it's still the old 28" widescreen JVC (not flat) and now our oldest TV (used to be the gameTV) was just put in our daughter's room with the Wii. That TV is 28" too but not widescreen, nor flat. It's a JVC too. No actual TV plugging in that room either but she'll have fun playing the games with her friends. My best friend's son; my daughter's (boy)friend Jimi (his middle name is Henrik; named after Jimi Henrix lol ) is sleeping over today and he loves games.

How many TV's do you own? With us, this is getting kinda redicilous... I thought it was a have-to- situation with the new one. I thoight there was something seriously wrong with the non-widescreen on. It is about 8 years old...

I saw Twilight. Mike looked weird in it.. And I couldn't see the blue in his eyes sad  because of the dumb lighting or something. Everybody looked green in the face...

#1334 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 11 Dec 08 :: 11:43

yikes Stop bashing Rob! Thanks to pictures like that he's been playing the lead on my daydreams lately.. :drool: Nice to see a different kind of star actor for a change. Next to those too-groomed model-looking actors Spunk Ransom looks like a rock n' roll dude! lol :drool: And yeah, I realize all those xxx-xxx- comments sound a lot like Edward on the books but I don't like Edward, I like Rob. big_smile

... Or bash all you want.. more of Rob left for me.... wink

Oh, and by the way.. I've seen the movie now.. I was naughty... :embarrassed: I didn't like it a lot on the first time I saw it but on the second time around I started to get passed those differences and saw it better... I'm starting to understand why some of the Twilight mom's watch it every week in theater.. I'm still gonna go to the theater and buy the dvd.. um.. can you tell I'm a regular at TM's thread "you know you're obsessed when..." :embarrassed::lol:

Hug for Deb. smile
Burned popcorn smells awful...

I just had another one of those nights of five hours of sleep.. I'll be damned before I let that affect on my mood. It's so much more fun to be all smiley face. big_smile I refuse to bring down the mood on my favorite boards. Of course it would be nice if I had some of my coffee left... or atleast tea. But you can't always have you want. big_smile

Are you guys formilliar with deviantart.com? big_smile I've just browsed houndreds of pictures the searchterm "Twilight" brough up, and giggled like nuts. Even for the pictures made by so weirdos that don't get Twilight. #1340 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 07 Dec 08 :: 20:28

Wow Anne, you're a lucky girl! big_smile

My best friend just left. I asked her "hey, do you see those books on the shelve above the TV? Yeah, that huge pile towering right there. That's the series I've been talking about lately. There's over 2000 pages together. Yeah, I've read them all... Hey, you know what? Those books are the reason why I keep blabbering about silver Volvos. No kidding." And she looked at me like I just went nuts. :rofl: Later I was watching the birthday card they brought and guess what.. It sparkeled. So what do I do..? lol I started grinning and I had to explain it to her why I was acting nutty again. She stared at me. She stared at me even weirder when I said that the books are known to cause absessions. But it's healthy kind of obsessions. I've been on such a good mood when ever I do something involving the Twilight. She wanted to change the subject then. lol

#1341 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Dec 08 :: 20:14

Aah, the party is finally over. Guests kept dropping in 3-5 at a time. Kinda nice actually. I could concentrate on having good time with them all. My kids' two 11 year old friends came too and they are still here. They've been about 5 hours now. They've spent  a lot of time with me. They were amazed by my HUGE collection of music and then they just wanted to listen to this one specific song over and over, cause it was their favorite. lol They didn't know most of my songs and they only wanted to listen to the ones they already knew. Damnit, I'm taking it my mission to get them to know more about good music and how it's not just the TOP10 songs that are worth listening. big_smile

As you might have noticed, I'm no longer suffering from headache. And my belly calmed down too after I got all the preparations done and the stress released. The shower might have helped too. Yay! I've been kinda perky. lol And chatty. big_smile I've never been this chatty before. My hubbys brothers looked at me like I was a stranger. :rofl: And I smile more. I guess I can thank you guys then, and the lovely ladies at TM's boards. If it's not the drugs then its... You giving me the buzz! lol Um.. I most seem like a loonie to you all, moods swinging all over the place.. roll:embarrassed: I might as well tell you I've some hormonal issues.. I'm not pregnant, it's something else. And I'm finally getting some answers about it when I have a doctor's appointment at the end of this month...

#1342 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Dec 08 :: 15:25

Nice cat you have there! big_smile

Well, I've done it. Pulled a birthday party together within three hours. Including some cleaning.. Kinda last minute. And I had a headache all morning. And some stress-related bellyache. Had to take another aspirin. First one today. Hopefully I won't need another one. I hate taking pills.. I was denying my self the aspirin and cursing and on a really bad mood whilst cleaning. Finally JTT got so pissed at my being pissed, I fugured I better take the damn pill. roll lol

Thanks for the answers. I can safely say I didn't take too much. I always try to take as little as possible. Cause I hate taking pills. And I don't want my system to get used to them. If that's possible. I don't know. What ever. You can ever be too careful when it comes to drugs...

I better get off the computer now. Aren't I a fabulous hostess? lol I already have some guests. JTT's mom and brothers. Where the heck is everyone else? The party was supposed to start at 2 and it's half past three already. I'll bet they'll all come like six o'clock..

#1343 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Dec 08 :: 14:40

Just a quickie question mids cleaning.. (I had to stop and eat a myeslibar and a class of juice since I haven't eaten today and feel kinda weak..)

Is it possible to get addicted to aspirin and flu medicine? Or get a little high from them? roll
I imagine, Tina would know...?

I feel kinda weird..dizzy.. and easily amuzed..:rolleyes: I'd even say funny stuff has been making me kinda euphoric for the past two days.. This week has been rather painful for me. I've taken 1-3 dozes of each almost everyday. In all my life I haven't used this much drugs.. I've always had a high tolerance for pain and I hate taking pills..and ever since I saw my sis get a bit addicted to painkillers as a teen I've been really wary of that...

I haven't exactly been eating right, because I have a bit of nausea.. And I haven't slept properly for weeks. So maybe low blood sugar and sleep depth is a better explanation...? hmm

#1344 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 06 Dec 08 :: 11:47

Funny Twilight videos...

Another one of Lolly's voiceovers.. hilarious:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YJkPmhnk2Vc

Ok three is enough.. I could do this all day.. but I've got things to do and I should get my priorities right for atleast this weekend.. Oh, who am I kidding?! Twilight is all I can think about anyway... lol ...'cause Stephenie is a witch and she put a spell on these books so that the Cullens will hunt down every non-Twilight thought in my head and suck them lifeless...

#1345 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Dec 08 :: 11:13

Oh damn, it's almost noon already.. I have to get into that cleaning and stuff already.. I haven't even eaten a proper breakfest yet, gotta get into THAT one first... I'm so tired.. It was about 2 am when I finally got to sleep last night. And woke up 8.30 when my daughter came asking about breakfast.
I'd go to sleep much earlier every night if my 2-year old didn't stay up till 11 or 12. And then I need an hour for my self to unwind before going to bed..and still I roll in bed (atleast) for a half an hour before I fall asleep.. Then I have to get up just after 6 almost every morning. So do you think I'm insomniac or what? roll No hopes that I'll ever get rid off this sleep depth.. I look like a Volturi wife, dark circles around my eyes and all.. I'll bet if I wore red or golden contacts I could be mistaken for a vampire! lol

So.. lighter subjects. big_smile Did you already get all the christmas presents? I was gonna start this week but I'll guess it's all crazy-shopping-hulabaloo for me for the two weeks before christmas.. I'm supposed to take it easy this year (again) but I'll bet I'll go wild over them (again) since I love to give presents. I love to give, period. Yeah, I know: I'm crazy... :silly: No rest for the wicked! I've got only myself to blame. And the fact that there's about 20 kids I need to get presents to, even if I try not to get anything for the adults... Like that's gonna happen. roll I'll have to give a present to a few teenagers and then I'll start feeling guilty for not giving anything for their adult siblings (because it's unfair, obviously!) and then all hell breaks loose! :rofl:
Help... Save me from myself... lol

Oh, and hey! :dancing: Happy birthday Finland! big_smile It's our independence day today.:applause: big_smile

#1346 Re: All About Chris » We're Going To LA! » 06 Dec 08 :: 10:03

Well, that was... sexy. lol Penn Badgley is pretty good of an actor, in Gossip Girl anyway. Not as good as Chris and Anton but he's getting there. He has that sexy voice- thing working for him so I'll bet he's going to places even if he has some manerism. Actually, if I look a lot of material with him it starts to bug me; like he's trying so hard to be sexy it's getting in the way of the really good acting.. Ok... This post might not make much sense. lol It's the flumedicine talking... :rofl:

Thank you, Mel. smile No such luck.. Worse again.. But on the positive side, This is day 5 of my flu so if it lasts 10 days as it usually does, I'm half way through! big_smile

And I STILL have the same damn To do-list. I did a quickie cleanup yesterday (then I was absolutely beaten..) but I still have to do it ALL today.. and JTT is at work, so he's not much of a help. Maybe I can take the kids to JTT's mom or something so I can clean without distractions..

Hey, I always wanted to show you all this picture. So glad I came across it again. big_smile
