Very true dat, Dawn. I have never shelved my JoA sets. Ever. I keep them within reach, just in case I need to see something.
So, how bad is your addiction to it? Do you have wallpaper on your computer or anything? You should pic out an avatar and banner so you can look at Chris loveliness every time you post.
Oh man, ME TOO, I have seriously never shelved mine either. My disks are probably yelling me all the time because they are probably worn out. Yes, I do have a JoA desktop, I like to switch it up sometimes but it always goes comes back like a bad habit. You're right I really should pick out an avatar and banner! Do you have a JoA wallpaper too?
I think I'll watch that ep soon again. Haven't watched any Joan stuff in months.
That's too long to go without JoA!
I KNOW, I can't believe Jennifer's mother, brother, and nephew! It's so horrible. Can't imagine what she and her family are going through.
Not all their fault I guess...CBS and all the jazz too...
Yeah, up to a point, but that was the writers' fault...
Yes, I know what you're talking about! I love it too! It's just all so perfect! Makes me giddy! Hehehe!
Hehe, than he just goes on staring at her...
I like in the beginning of the episode where Joan's late to Physics and Ms. Lischak goes on a spiel and Joan asks, "Am I supposed to know what she said?" Then Adam says, "I wasn't listening. I was looking at you." Too adorable.
I like the way you think!
Had God stopped appearing to Joan, or had she just stopped hearing Him. And then, why was He talking to her again, or why was she now hearing Him again. That was what I was hoping to learn about in a third season, not the silly melodrama with Ryan.
I too was looking forward to finding out about that in season 3, definitely wasn't interested in what was in store for Ryan. I really don't even like thinking about him.
Thanks for telling me, I'll check out AICN.
LOL, I didn't know they're making a GAH movie! Who's playing Ralph and Maxwell? What a coincidence! Yeah, I'd like to see him play some super hero...or he already is to me...hahaha.
Yeah, I go to Venice Beach and Starbucks all the time...I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled! That's so cool!
Yep, LA is a neat place.
What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
I believe it was an episode of Law & Order.
What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
Joan of Arcadia no doubt about it.
What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
Probably the last scene in No Bad Guy.
Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Adam. You don't see a cool guy like that on TV anymore.
Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris? What site did you land on?
Errr...sometime after I watched Tic Code I think.
What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
Well, Deb helped me from IMDb. It's so much better here. I was definitely interested in some Chris interviews.
What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
He should be Ralph from Greatest American Hero...Hhaaha
Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
Sadly, no.
Own any Chris movies?
Not really because I'm usually a renter. But I have JoA and Alpha Dog.
Have anything special recorded off TV?
My VCR turned on me and almost ate my hand. But I did have this little tid bit when he was on Boston Public but it got messed up.
What do you like most about Chris?
Seems like he's not affected by the lime lights like most young actors are nowadays.
If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
Probably a lot of angry JoA questions. Ha.
Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
Sorry, I've got JoA on the brain. Unchallenged.
Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
I haven't been so lucky...
If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
Man, I haven't even thought of that because never in a millions year would I be able to meet him. Don't want to get my hopes up.
What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller or g) a dramatic movie
I usually all for the drama and I like dark movies.
It was a good episode. I agree, the part with Sammy's wife was disturbing. That actress was very good. I think up until then you don't really like or know Sammy that much but after that it makes you feel for him and what he has to go through.
Man, Deb, I can't wait to see it now! I have to get the DVD. Once I see it will definitely tell you guys what I think.
It's a really sad story... Amber plays a 16 year old who got pregnant. She denied her pregnancy the whole time, mostly to herself because no one else knew, then killed her baby after giving birth in a bathroom.
Wow. Very sad. I definitely want to see it and listen to the commentary that Deb was talking about. I'm excited to see Amber's preformance too.
That ending dinner scene really gets me everytime. When Kevin says that the psychic said he will dance at his wedding. AND that look that Joan gives Kevin just speaks louder than words. Very sad.
Thanks guys, I shall see it then!
No, I haven't seen Stephanie Daley. What's it about?
Big Trekkie.
-TeeJay
Same here. :dancing:
I guess this should go in the random thread...
Has anybody noticed the Dawson's Creek references in the show? I wasn't a big fan of DC back in the day but I've noticed.
1. I think it's filmed at the same school Dawson's Creek was.<---Then maybe since it is, that's maybe why they put the references in.
2. Meredith Monroe (Andie on DC) plays Michelle Turner the author in "Double Dutch."
3. Mark Matkevich (Drew on DC) plays Roger.
4. Ian Bohen (Anderson on DC) plays Peter, I think a lawyer with Beth, on "Wealth of Nations."
5. Joan and Adam go on a trip to Dawson State in "Game Theory."
6. Both shows have the same school colors.
There's probably more but that's all I can think of now. (if I can think of more I will add)
I just think it's weird.
Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
I read the Sisterhood books a while before the first movie and I liked the first one but for some reason when I saw the trailer for the second it just didn't look that great. I thought it might have lost it's "magic." I don't know if anybody else felt that way. Maybe I'll rent it one day because you can't really trust trailers.
I'm sure looking forward to it too!
Oh great! But that'd be even better to sit down and talk with her.
Definitely. I can picture his face too with saying the lines and it cracks me up.
