Re: Road Trippin'

My flight back was delayed almost an hour, so I only just got back (11:30 PM). I'm about to drop dead, but I'll post something cool I found in my mailbox today for you in the Infestation thread before I go. smile

Re: Road Trippin'

Well, I'm in Memphis, Tennessee at the moment and I've got a Wireless connection, thankfully. I think we're headed to dinner in a few minutes here, but perhaps later tonight I'll try to catch up with the messages. I read a few back when I was at a friend's house in Las Cruces, New Mexico, but I didn't have any time to respond.

Probably another three days until I'm home for good. big_smile

Hope you're all well!

Re: Road Trippin'

Yeah, have a safe rest of your trip and a save way back home, too.

I am going on a trip on Friday too, it's Sturge-Weber Weekend again, so I'll be away until Sunday evening, I think. I will take Cooper with me (for those who don't know: Cooper is my new laptop. And yes, it is named after Chris's character in Infestation. big_smile ) but I don't think I can go online from there. sad

Re: Road Trippin'

We got in Friday afternoon. I would have posted earlier, but we had a really big storm yesterday that shut off our power for quite awhile. But anyways, I'm here, and it's beautiful. smile

Anyways, I'll try to catch up with posts today.

Re: Road Trippin'

Even though it's just a half hour trip, I guess I was road trippin' again today. My Korean-looking but very German friend Soya and I met up in Düsseldorf, and I snapped some photos when we walked the Rhein promenade (and later ended up at Starbucks):

Re: Road Trippin'

I am heading off to Berlin tomorrow. I'm not going to take Cooper (laptop) with me, so I don't know when I'll be online, it's either Sunday night or Monday evening (after work). You'll see, I guess.

Re: Road Trippin'

Well, maybe you'll get lucky and find free wireless access somewhere. Some hotels will offer that. Have fun! Take some cute pictures and post them for us.

Re: Road Trippin'

Free W-LAN? Really? My brother said that would be really expensive and you know my situation about money ... Well, maybe I'll try.  But don't count on it, I guess there will not be much time to surf the net anyway because we're planning to do as much sightseeing as we can. wink

And yeah, I am planning to post pictures, if my dad's digital camera will take a few good ones. It's like lottery with that thing, you know.

Re: Road Trippin'

It really depends on where you're staying. Some hotels might offer free WLAN, but in most of them you have to pay. And if you have to pay, it's usually quite expensive, yes. Guess you'll just have to see.
